We recorded this song using an electronic drum set, the Harbinger HDS110 and the Fostex. The Fostex recorder is a beast for as small as it is. The Harbinger has a much better sound selection (voices) than the Alysis, however, there was some distortion and the brain couldn't keep up with the hits many times. They are both cheaper electronic drum sets so we don't expect much, and since they are only used for recording during rehearsals, I think they will do fine. The Harbinger is by far the better of the two sounding drum kits.
And then, Sierra sounds amazing as always.

We picked up another electronic drum set this week. While I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to drums, these aren't bad. We started off with an Alysis kit, then added in this Behringer kit. They are great for practice and perfect for home studio type recording.
Moving forward, once we have our facility ready, we will install the e-Kits for others to play on.
We will put together some more recordings as time allows.

Josh Groban's voice has such power, and Herbie Hancock's jazz style mesh amazingly. We will never be able to perform the song that well, but it still has a lot of power and is technically challenging to do.

Our lead DJ, Eric Standridge, may be locally known for planning various community events, but he also has some serious skills on the drums! Though he's normally a jazz drummer, he can play anything from rock to bluegrass. Watch him light up the night with this sweet beat, as he tests out a new electric drum set.
Ms. Sierra is no stranger to the music scene. She began performing out west as soon as she was big enough to hold a guitar. She could be found anywhere from church to the market, always with a guitar in hand. Not much as changed, she's still playing and performing, but she's added a new skill. For the last three years, she's been working as a DJ first at Strike-a-lot Lanes and then at the Poteau Artist Cooperative. She has done countless kids and teen parties, and has hosted a number of wedding receptions.
