Happening this week at the Park County Fair Grounds.

Another friendly reminder that the FINAL beef tagging is this Sunday. February 9th, from 10:00am-12:00pm. at the Powell Highschool Ag. Barn. For all those attending the tagging is just for animals intended to be shown in the market classes. i.e. Market, ultrasound, bred & fed. Breeding animals do not need to be brought to the tagging, unless they are a companion animal to the market animal.

Just a final quick reminder the Cody beef tagging is tomorrow February 1st, from 10:00am - 12:00pm, at the Cody Veterinary Hospital. If you need directions please scan the QR code in the image . February 1st , 2025 Cody Veterinary Hospital 10:00am - 12:00pm
February 9th, 2025 Powell FFA Agriculture Barn
10:00am - 12:00pm
Entries will open May 1st and close July 1st at 5:00pm
Park County Fair Does not accept late entries.

Its time to start thinking about looking for your 2025 market or breeding meat goats. If you haven't already we suggest you start contacting breeders to see what they will have available for purchase soon. It would also be a good time to open the Park County Fair Book too the Open and Youth Goats sections.

With just under a month till the first Market Beef Tagging Date. February, 1st 2025 Hosted in Cody at the Cody Veterinary Hospital from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Followed by the Powell Market Beef tagging. Being hosted at Powell FFA Agriculture Barn on February, 9th 2025 from 10:00am - 12:00pm. We would like to remind everyone, that the tagging events are for the animals that you would like to show in Market Classes, Bred and Fed, Ultrasound, and Rate of Gain and sell in the junior livestock sale so please be sure to save the dates and bring your market steers and heifers.
