I am extremely proud of this announcement!!

As of this past Saturday, Ciderville by Station R Music and Drums has taken in the distribution of a handcrafted local made guitar company called, DREAMWOOD Guitars.

Built in Tazewell, TN by custom guitar designer and builder Mr. Virgil Lawson, DREAMWOOD GUITAR is a local made guitar with special structuring that allows the guitar to resonate and sing like no other guitar. When you strum a chord or play a note, you can hear the ring last forever. Just when you would think it would stop, the guitar is still singing the chord or note applied by the musician.

The guitar’s beauty is the finalizing feature. The guitar has some of the most beautiful woods and inlays that can be used to build this wonderful instrument. It has a flawless finish. When you first lay eyes on the guitar, it’s beautiful finish forces the eyes to open and the jaws to drop.

PARTON DRUM WORKS is a local hand crafted drum company out of Morristown, TN. I am proud to announce that Ciderville by Station R Music and Drums is now carrying as well as selling Mr. Craig Parton’s wonderful drums at our location.

Each drum is handcrafted with great detail out of woods that lots of other drum companies do not use. Craig goes all the way to ensure each drum is spot on. Most all of his snare drums are a one time build that gives a drummer a unique snare drum that can’t be replicated again.

The man, the myth, the legend…My good friend for 37 years, Mr. David West, came by the store on this past Wednesday and visited. He got talked into playing a song he had never played with the gentleman who wrote this fun and great song. David didn’t have his own picks or his banjo, but took one of our Gibson banjo’s off the rack and showed it how it’s done! Love the song, and love the picking!!

A great visit today by Mr. Steven Mounts playing a bluegrass traditional song called, Lonesome Ruben. Mr. mounts is a show musician in Pigon Forge. You can catch him at the Hatfield and McCoy family show.
