Nora Cline and Stacey Haney are proud to announce The Powell Cotillion program for the middle school aged child. Powell Cotillion combines educational and interactive lessons in social etiquette and dance to educate young people in the importance of social graces in today’s competitive world. Your child’s success in higher academics, and later in business, may be determined in part by his or her
knowledge, understanding and use of positive social skills - learned, practiced and enjoyed at Powell Cotillion! With a combined experience of over 30 years of etiquette instruction and party planning, Nora Cline of Modern Manners and Stacey Haney of The Glass Slipper are proud to offer this much needed, and greatly requested, program to the young people of Delaware County and surrounding areas. We, at Powell Cotillion, know and understand the need to be considerate of others in our daily activities at home, school and away. For 24 years, Nora has taught etiquette to thousands of children in central Ohio, while Stacey has taught party and event planning for 10 years. Through the use of interactive lessons and role-play, your son or daughter will see first-hand how they are perceived by others – especially the adults in their lives – as they act out real life social situations: at the dining table, in public, at a party, while on the dance floor – to name a few! With the combined experience of over 30 years in the instruction of social and table etiquette, character enrichment, event planning and personal development, our directors know what it takes to teach effectively, relate well to children, keep students interested and focused on the subject material – all while having fun! Program content is relevant, up to date and presented in a fun and interesting way. Fee structure is very affordable, compared to the national standard.
