CRUISE TO THE PINES ARIZONA CAR SHOW IS OFFICIALLY POSTPONED
NEW DATE: OCTOBER 1ST 2022
SAME LOCATION: WATSON LAKE PARK
We are heartbroken to announce that we have been forced to postpone our 2022 event until later this fall.
Firefighters have been battling the Crooks Fire in Prescott National Forest for the past few weeks and although they now have the fire about 89% contained, they have been using our show grounds (Watson Lake Park) as a home base for all the fire crews. At this time they cannot assure us that the fire crews will be gone from the showgrounds in time for our event. With just over a week left before the show date we feel the need to let everyone know that we will be moving the event.
We know that this is a last minute change and believe us, we’re more upset about it than anyone. The City of Prescott has done everything they can to try and make it work for us, but the fact is that battling wildfires will always take precedence over planned events.
All pre-registrations and camp sites will be held as ordered for the new date.
If the new date does not work for you we understand. Please let us know if you will be requiring a refund on your registration by emailing: [email protected] with your name and order number.
WE STILL WANT TO SHOW OUR LOVE AND SUPPORT FOR ALL OF YOU WHO WERE READY TO SUPPORT US!!! SO LETS STILL DO A LITTLE LOCAL CRUISING ON THE 15th!!!
We are currently in the process of planning a cruise route around the valley that will end with a FREE BBQ cookout event at Paloma Community Park in north Peoria. Ramadas are reserved and we’re ordering lots of burgers, dogs, buns and fixin’s. We hope that you will still bring out your rides and enjoy a nice day of cruising, food and friends.
Hopefully we will still be seeing you all with us up in Prescott in October as well! We greatly appreciate your support and patience as we deal with these unforeseen circumstances.
