Memorial stack I did last weekend for friends whose loved one passed away.

I’ve been getting A LOT of inquiries regarding the floating rosaries for balloon releases and though I think they’re absolutely beautiful, I do not have a helium tank in order to be able to make one. Let’s talk PRICING!!!

I frequently get asked for quotes on balloons and then get asked to do a set up for cheaper if balloons are supplied from Amazon or get ghosted altogether. Neither are taken personally, however, I thought maybe sharing HOW I calculate my numbers, might help my customers to understand WHY I my quotes are what they are….

1. BALLOON COST
-All balloons used are name brand, QUALITY balloons. This ensures DURABILITY FOR TRANSPORT, OUTDOOR SETUPS and PROLONGED EVENT TIMES. These balloons will not pop easily like Amazon balloons and will allow me to inflate a day or two before your event to make sure set up time is well within the small windows most venues allow. As you can see, the cost of these balloons cost much more than your $8.99 party pack on Amazon (and these are basic styles). I use at least 3 sizes to create a professional look and cost continues to grow with each color added and as your garland size increases. Don’t forget about shipping, taxes, and added fees!!

2. CUSTOMIZATION AND ADD ONS
-I try and fit my customer’s vision the best I can and add in custom details to make their displays unique to them. Whether it’s vinyl lettering or add ons like flowers and pampas to match your theme and decor, this adds in to the total cost of supplies of your set up. Not to mention themes that require DOUBLE stuffing your balloons to make custom colors to match.

3. BACKDROPS
-Whether it’s curtain panels, chiara walls or hoops, all backdrops take their own amount of time to set up and prepare for each event. Curtain panels require steaming and laundering. Chiara walls are almost ALWAYS needing to be painted to match, which takes additional time and increases cost for supplies. A lot of my backdrops are handmade and also require additional time and work that isn’t even a thought to be considered with most installs.

4. PREP TIME
- Most customers only see an hour or two of the work required to make a set up. Nobody but my family and I see the HOURS of prep time that goes into pre blowing balloons (especially those tiny 5” fillers). Not to mention painting, printing, cutting, weeding, ordering and color matching each set up.

5. EXPERIENCE
- Whether you want that WOW factor at your party or you simply just don’t want to deal with the hassle of putting together balloons yourself, I am here to provide my experience and abilities as a LUXURY service and let’s face it, those Amazon strip garlands are simply not giving off that professional look.

I understand not everyone is a customer and that’s totally okay! I am happy to talk about budget-friendly options like Take & Go garlands or bundle deals, but the answer to the Amazon question will be no EVERY time. I can not guarantee my work and am simply not willing to have my name represented by anything but quality products.

I hope this helps to paint a better picture of what goes into each display and how pricing is individually calculated. Don’t be afraid to give me your budget because I am happy to come up with a design that will accommodate your needs!
