Meeting The Characters

How cool would it be to have a jedi knight, a disney princess, or a wizard from hogwarts come to your party?

Here at Facing The Artist, we want to make your party as special as we can! We have a variety of characters, as well as the option to choose a character that's not currently on the list!

Our current characters and their movies, books, or tv shows are as follows:
Star Wars: Jedi knight

Practicing The Art

I love spending my free time learning and practicing new designs. It's even more fun with friends to practice on!

Painting the desserts

Recently I had the privilege to paint for an icecream themed birthday party!
While not all the designs asked for were the same sweet treat, the kids were so excited to have various icecreams on their cheeks and foreheads.

Learning The Art

When I was a young girl, I was always in trouble for drawing on myself. Or on the walls...

I went through a drawing phase, a writing phase, and finally, a painting phase. Although I still wanted an excuse to draw or paint on myself.

For the past several years, I had helped out with my churches VBS and used it as an excuse to mess around with face paint. After three years of people commenting on it, I decided to try something new.

And here we are. Taking after my mom and sister and starting a business of my own, I decided to start following my passions!

My name is Amber and I'm the head artist of
"Facing the artist".
I am 20 years old and have always loved art.
As well as art, I love baking, and kids!
I took a couple art classes during my highschool years, and was always the first to volunteer at church for anything artistic. I also helped lead a paint class once!
