Hi!

I’m Katie, owner and chef of Rustic Sunflower Catering. I wanted to take the time to introduce myself to those who are new here and to reintroduce myself to everyone else. I started this business back in October 2022. I grew up spending my time in the kitchen with my Mom and Dad. Since then I have always had a passion for cooking. In the past I have worked as a barista, a waitress, and I’ve worked in daycare. Each job that I’ve had, I have always had some sort of cooking role. You could say cooking has always been a major part of my story and who I am. My goal with this business is to be able to open my own restaurant someday. I really enjoy bringing happiness to my community through the food that I create.

A couple facts about me outside of cooking; I grew up on the west side and moved here when I was 16 and love the community and how supportive they are! Outside of cooking I love to travel to the Oregon coast; it is one of my favorite places! If you are an animal lover I would love to tell you all about the pets that I’ve had over the years! I look forward to learning more about you and continuing to serve the community.
