Today is a landmark in my career as a photographer. The Charleston Post and Courier has produced a book containing many of the photographs I've taken over decades at the world famous Bowens Island restaurant. The newspaper is sponsoring a book signing today at the restaurant featuring the author and owner/family member Robert Barber. Bowens Island restaurant is making a big event of it with an oyster roast and homemade banana pudding. I'll be there autographing the book.
