The restored Historic Melrose Knitting Mill was originally built in 1903. The three-story brick mill finds itself nestled in downtown Raleigh, among many local attractions, such as museums, restaurants and nightlife.

The expansive courtyard, used for cocktail hour, is focused around an oversized reflection pool, providing a beautiful setting for the perfect downtown wedding. Melrose Knitting Mill boasts exposed bricks, rough cut beams and twenty-four arched windows, providing an abundance of natural light for your photography and cinematography needs. The custom-built bar offers the guests a sophisticated, industrial lounge to reflect on the perfect Melrose Knitting Mill features a large, open space for both ceremony and reception with finishes that mirror the urban, industrial chic style while preserving it’s historic charm.

The space exhibits a grand atmosphere with 18-foot vaulted ceilings and fourteen crystal chandeliers. The majestic structure expands across the entire length of the venue, overlooking the Capitals cityscape. This unique property is a canvas waiting to be customized for your special day.

The venue comfortably accommodates up to 180 guests seated and up to 210 for a cocktail style reception.
