Diamante Arts & Cultural Center is pleased to announce Herencia, an open call to all NC Latino artists taking place at DACC Gallery and Oberlin Public Library. Herencia is an exhibition program that celebrates the cultures, heritage and lived experiences of North Carolina artist who identify as Latino/x/e Hispanic.

El Centro de Arte y Cultura Diamante se complace en anunciar Herencia, una convocatoria abierta para todos los artistas latinos de Carolina del Norte que tendrá lugar en la Galería DACC y en la Biblioteca Pública de Oberlin. Herencia es un programa de exhibición que celebra las culturas, herencias y experiencias vividas de los artistas de Carolina del Norte que se identifican como Latino/x/e e Hispano.

Submission deadline: Sep. 7 / 11:59pm
Delivery of Work: Sep. 10 - 13. / 10am - 4pm
Reception Gallery: Oct. 20 / 6-9 pm
Reception Oberlin Library: Sep. 25 / 6-8pm
Work Pick up: Oct. 15 - 18 / 10am - 4pm

- Open to all North Carolina artist that identify as Latino/x/e Hispanic
- FREE APLICATION
- Only recent work up to 2 years accepted
- All work must be ready to hang with D - Rings and wired
- DACC charges 25% commission + Credit card fees
- Work can't exceed 48" wide
- Artist must deliver and pick up work

The mixture between the strength of Ikorma’s visual vocabulary and their ideas about what race is and how Latin Americans celebrate “raza” as community are immediately and playfully presented in this focused and deliberate body of work.
