Represented in this exhibit is Erin Fei.

Erin Fei’s artistic practice explores the complexities of her identity as an Asian American woman and the fetishized gaze. Her paintings cross the boundaries between desire and repulsion, using the monstrous and grotesque to challenge viewers to confront their complicity in systems of oppression and exploitation. Through images of meat, flesh, and dining scenes she dives into the discomforting reality of being seen, undressed, and devoured.

She received her BA in studio art in 2020 from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia and her MFA in Studio Art in 2024 from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. Erin is the awardee of the prestigious Rosalie Chauncy scholarship for the study of painting in France as well as multiple talent awards. Currently, she resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and is a part-time faculty

Represented in this exhibit are collaborative team, Be Boggs and Slater Mapp.
Be Boggs is a painter, professional illustrator, and collaborative multimedia artist living in Raleigh, NC. In all of her practices, the trajectory of her work is storytelling. As her work continues to evolve, she reveals vulnerabilities of her history, and visions for the future. In the past few years, she has been involved in collaborative and fundraising art exhibits from Los Angeles, CA to Raleigh, NC. Additionally, Boggs has had solo painting exhibits in San Francisco, Oakland, Laguna Beach and Los Angeles.
Slater Mapp is an artist and educator born in Virginia and currently living in Raleigh North

Represented in this exhibit is Anna Payne Rogers Previtte.
Previtte is an exhibiting artist and muralist, living and working in Raleigh NC, following studies of Fine Art and Religion at UNC Chapel Hill. From the intersection of these subjects, she has become interested in creating a conceptual, formal practice rooted in abstraction that explores relevant subjects through more representational motifs. In this way she has focused on themes of nature, climate change, phototropism, growth and humanity so that her work can act as both a call to action and a celebration of progress as we all strive to resolve our lived experiences. She has chosen to seek that resolution through the language of light and line and hopes to serve her community in the same way through the exhibition and installation of thoughtful work. Anna is currently working out of Studio 109 at Artspace following her year-long residency there where she is currently exhibiting collaborative, site-specific pieces from that residency.
