When I was a little girl, I did many sports including competitive gymnastics. When I had gymnastic meets out of town, sometimes my dad and I would pass through Staunton, VA and we would stop at the infamous MRS. ROWES Family Restaurant to split 2 slices of their amazing and renown pies. Our favorites were Coconut crème and Chocolate creme.

For our “Sweetie Pie Blush Oaks Couples”, we have decided to get them a little gift and one of these Mrs. Rowe’s Southern Pie Recipe books so they can make a date night and bake a pie together with their love. 🥧🥰💕

We may have bought all the remaining copies off of Amazon, but they should be replenishing soon! 🤣

Huge thank you to Michelle, Tripp, Donny and wait and bar staff at The Bridge Club above Death & Taxes. They really helped “get the wedding planning ducks in a row!” We had so many people come up to us at the wedding and say what a lovely wedding it was! Sending them a little note in the mail too. :-)

We are hopefully making the wedding of Dylan & Samantha sweeter as they originally planned to be in Asheville this Saturday but last minute needed to reroute their plans to a close friend’s backyard in Fuquay. They’ve done an excellent job re-planning and re-imagining their wedding and “angel” bride Sam has secured two of her original vendors- the photographer and HMUA, coming in from Asheville. We wanted to honor them while keeping a festive mood so as a fun surprise— we are gifting them the most exquisite Raleigh sugar cookies by Southern Sugar Bakery, LLC with one dozen- 12 cookies to benefit the area and one dozen-12 wedding cookies to celebrate their beautiful marriage and wedding this Saturday! Congrats D & S!! 🫶✨💙

Wow... you know wedding planning might be a wee bit challenging from time to time for the brides, grooms, friends, and family members, but we are really just trying to put things in perspective. We've got a Bride & Groom moving their ceremony from Asheville to a friend's backyard in Fuquay-Varina within the past week or so. The bride Sam has been "an angel" according to the hair + make up artist (MUA) because she is still having her photographer and HMUA come from Asheville. Dylan is one lucky man and we could not be more grateful to be their Day of Coordinator. KJ is already booked but still doing the coordinating for this Sweet Couple and the rehearsal at 11am Friday then Amber, our Blush Oaks Wedding Associate, is going to do an excellent job for this Sweet couple on Saturday.

Just booked another beautiful couple for Oct 12, 2024. They originally were planning for an Asheville wedding but had to pivot with the events happening lately and are planning to get married in a friend’s backyard with a tent! We will make sure their event is thoughtfully planned and exquisitely executed so that they can have a wonderful time getting married with their friends and family! 💕

Headed over to see Vidrio again and to get the size dimensions of the room for a bride and groom getting married in November! We’ve been here for Corporate Holiday parties before but this will be the first wedding at Vidrio for us! How exciting! 💙💚
