I am so proud of myself because of how hard I have worked on learning how to play Liquid Drum & Bass over the past year. I definitely could not have done it alone though — and I am almost certain that I can speak for all artists when I say that. I know that I have a long way to go to be a better artist at this time next year but let me assure anyone who is concerned about me being in competition with them — I am not. I am only in competition with myself. I look forward to more growth, learning, new beginnings, and additional opportunities as I roll into Year 2 and heading in to 2025 😌😙🥹

I have been super busy this month. I have been working on numerous projects at once. I also gained a residency with at the beginning of the month which I am super excited about! The first episode aired last Monday (10.21.24). Check out my schedule of upcoming projects in November 2024 🎹

I have been hard at work all month long on quite a few projects already and I gained a radio residency at the beginning of the month. Looking ahead at November, at the beginning of the month, which is Friday, we start the month off with my Guest Mix with on their YouTube channel at YouTube.com/ airing at 8am BST / 3am EST. This mix will also be available on my SoundCloud channel within 48 hours after it airs on FlowCast. I would prefer that most of the traffic be driven to their channel instead before I upload it. Check my SoundCloud channel Monday morning. My radio show airs on 11.18.24 at the same time and place (8 BST / 3am EST on subtleradio.com) as it always will and the playlist is 3/4 done already. Mixing should commence next week. And finally, Eminent Domaine airs in November with on which I am so looking forward to 🥰 Date & Time is coming! I will announce as soon as I know.

Keep in mind that I am also working on my own mix, Inner Thoughts, in between all of these projects, and that playlist is halfway done right now. Mixing should commence in a few weeks.

Amirite?

Okay, hear me out …

I woke up at like 7am for literally no good reason other than chronic pain causes me to be unable to stay asleep. So, I said f**k it, I will just fu**ing get up. I grabbed my coffee, I sipped it for a bit. I checked some s**t on my iPhone. Then, maybe an hour or two later, I pulled out my MacBook and I decided to get to work. I have 2 mixes to finish, 1 of my own to finish, cover work to do, flyers to fix, and an entire day ahead of me with absolutely f**k all on my schedule today. And you know fu**ing what? I got it all done with the exception of my own mix. Technically, the playlist is done but the beat grids and hot cues are not 🤪🥲🫣🫠 I finished 72+ beat grids and hot cues today. I listened to probably well over 200 tracks. I imported a good 60 tracks. I checked, double checked, and triple checked these playlists to just be sure that all of the tracks are in exactly the right order that I want them to be in. I wanted to try and make sure that there aren’t tracks being repeated if possible, unless of course the track absolutely just has to be played out OFC 🤭😉

So, you see, today was a really good fu**ing Monday for me because it was super fu**ing productive and I needed that. Last week was a super s**t week for me.

10.6.24 • Year 2 🤯

If you’re still with me, congratulations 🍾

In November, I will officially celebrate 1 year in my DJing journey but unofficially, I began around this time last year. I didn’t get my own equipment until close to the end of November though. I just started working on obtaining the software, collecting music, organizing, listening, playing around in Rekordbox a bit, watching and learning from him — also being a pain in the ass (which I am extremely apologetic about because it was unnecessary ☹️), setting up social media, switching my SoundCloud over, creating YouTube & Mixcloud, and just networking in general.

It was exciting, frustrating, challenging, fun, chaotic, painful, passionate, bonding, connecting, enlightening, insightful, and just so many other things in between all of that on the way to where I am right now. Right now, I feel driven, motivated, confident, and happy. I feel the passion that I have always had. I am really curious to see what year 2 has in store 😌

Looking ahead, I am beginning a new mix project titled Liquid Reflections as I go into year 2 and the first mix is currently titled Inner Thoughts. The playlist for the mix is currently complete *I think* 😅 I might change my mind though, you just never know 😉 So, look out for that mix in the near future ✨🎧

Life is Liquid will never go away, don’t worry. That is the motto OFC 🖤 I am currently considering what I am going to do to continue Life is Liquid in a different way.

I just really appreciate all of the love and support for Liquid Summer over the last 2.5-3 weeks 🥲🫶🏼 It genuinely means a lot to me that it has received the kind of response that it has. It has just been so unexpected and surprising in the best way possible. Thank you all so very much for all of your love and support of me and of my art! It means more than you know 🫶🏼☺️
