Established, growing and award winning family-run off-site catering company is looking for you to complete our team! We are looking to find the right team member to share the vision of taking our company to the next level. In this position, you must be dependable, self-reliant, have a clean driving record, work well with deadlines, strong counting and math skills and have exceptional customer service. This position includes kitchen prep work and cooking in large quantities, delivery driving, shopping for supplies as well as working closely with ownership for mutual success.
Duties:
Full Time. Primarily M-F morning to early afternoon (5 am - 1 or 2 pm). Must be flexible and available to work more/less hours as needed based on the workflow of the week. Some weekends, as needed.
Due to the cyclical nature of our business, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the needs of the company.
Kitchen work includes prep work, bulk cooking for daycares and schools and cooking for corporate and social events.
Lead kitchen roll with room to grow into head of kitchen operations.
Operate the company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner in accordance with company, state, and local laws.
Follow to assigned schedule while delivering orders in a safe and efficient manner.
Good time management and organizational skills and works well under pressure.
Requirements:
Must be a self-starter, be dependable, detail oriented and a hard worker.
Must be fast and efficient and able to work on your feet. The physical demands for this position are sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours.
Must be comfortable driving throughout the Twin Cities metro area, including downtown Minneapolis, during rush hour.
Must be confident in your abilities to use Google Maps to find your way from each delivery location.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must have a clean driving record at the time of application – no suspensions, DUI, reckless driving, homicide, assault, or major traffic violations on record in the last 7 years. Speeding tickets and minor violations typically do not affect your candidature.
Must have a valid driver's license and a smartphone.

Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to understand driving directions, menus, event details, and communication with clients and coworkers.
