This day is to honor and thank those who spearheaded our fight before us and created the paths necessary to build a better future for all of us. Because of their unyielding sacrifices and efforts, we are able to love and live more freely than we ever have before. Now it is our turn to show our appreciation for their dedication to equity, inequality, and justice by continuing their advocacy and push forward as they have done before us. Their efforts will be honored, remembered, and continued. For all that have come before us, THANK YOU. We see you and we would not be here today without you.
