Maybe I’m succumbing to peer pressure, but the urge to start decorating for the holidays is strong. Last month, I just wanted to slow down and enjoy the new autumn season and pumpkin spice, and now I’m sprinting towards jingle bells and egg nog.

So I added a few new items to the library mantle. The vibe works for the mid autumn season with a heavy nod to the upcoming holiday.

Starting early also gives me breathing room to experiment, and not feel rushed. So I’m grateful for that. It’s still a work in progress, so enjoy this sneak peek. 👀

The White Garden was the perfect setting for Jill’s baby shower for her and her 70+ guests! I especially loved the Italian Soda station…it was a hit!

Built in 1904 as a love letter from its original owner to his wife who adored hosting extravagant celebrations, this late ‘modern’ Queen Anne Victorian estate has been making memories for 120 years. In fact, we were named by the community because of the lavish Christmas parties hosted here.

Can we have live music at your venue? 🎶 We get this question quite a bit and the answer is YES! Music has played a big part of the Christmas House history. At one point we were told the parlor housed as many as 5 instruments at the same time, including an organ! Now, the parlor is home to a 1920s grand piano, which is available for use during weddings. Unfortunately we don’t have space for live bands, but we can accommodate most other music request! We’d love to hear your thoughts!
