Our first event of the 38th Annual Fall Festival of the Arts was huge success! Thank you to Berks Opera Company, the wonderful singers, Ellen Rissinger, Francine and Tammy Black for providing us with a fabulous program this past Friday!

We are so excited for the opening of this year’s art exhibit featuring the work of Berks County artist N. Ntelios Sarangoulis. Join us from 1-3 today (9/19) in the Hintz Room at Trinity Lutheran Church. And after the reception, don’t miss the final performance of The Amish Project at 3 p.m. at the WCR Center for the Arts.

After a powerful, thought-provoking performance last night, the cast was joined by Rev. Megan Huesgen, Immanuel UCC, for an insightful discussion on the play’s themes. Tonight (9/18) Pastor Steve Ohnsman, Calvary UCC will lead the discussion and tomorrow (9/19) Rabbi Brian Michelson is the facilitator.

Led by local religious leaders, these sessions focus on the theme of forgiveness, both as it relates to The Amish Project and to us in our everyday lives. One week away! The 36th Annual Fall Festival of the Arts kicks off on Friday, September 10 at 7:30 p.m. with a performance by renowned organist Eric Plutz. Mr. Plutz will perform Louis Vierne's Symphonies 1, 3, & 5 on the organ at Christ Episcopal Church in Reading.

Eric Plutz, University Organist at Princeton University, commemorates the sesquicentennial of the birth of Louis Vierne, organist of Notre-Dame de Paris from 1900 until his death in 1937.

The Fall Festival of the Arts is excited to announce N. Ntelios Sarangoulis as the new artist for the exhibit at the 2021 Fall Festival of the Arts. N. Ntelios Sarangoulis is a graduate of Kutztown University, Ecoles D’Arts Americaines in Fontainebleau, France. She is and a past member of Muse Gallery, Philadelphia; Art Group, Reading, Pa; and The Goggleworks Art Center Reading, PA. In 2012 she participated in an artist residency program in Raghurajpur, India.
