It has taken some time to coordinate schedules for a check presentation, but Lynn Flanagan, HRC's CEO, recently accepted a check from Jarrett & Heidi Nykamp, representing proceeds from December's Taste of the Holidays from Around the World. The delicious event raised more than $1,900, with almost 130 tickets sold. HRC is very grateful to Jarrett & Heidi and all their staff at The Blissful Ridge Art & Wedding Venue for all their hard work that encompassed serving crowds on three different evenings. We look forward to working with them again in December 2023!

Power & Sound Revival 2023 Official Pre-Party!
Come join us on April 15th at Blissful Ridge event venue for a little taste of Power & Sound.

$5 cover charge at door
(If you can show proof that you have purchased a Power & Sound Revival ticket you get in for free. You can show us via confirmation email or print out your tickets.)
What does my cover charge go toward? The profit raised from the Pre-Party will go into Arts & Trade of North Carolina, the charity that Power & Sound Revival donates a portion of their profits to each year.

*Doors open at 5pm and music will start at 6:30.
Our musicians for the night will be....
HRH (High River Hippies) 6:30-7:15
Woody Woodworth - 7:30-8:30
JSW (Seth Williams) - 8:45-9:45

*Blissful Palette will be providing the food and drinks for the night at reasonable prices and we do suggest you bring cash. There is no ATM on site and not great connection for card readers.

*There will be an option to camp at the venue for no charge. So, bring your tent, van or RV and come party!

*We do allow coolers but please do not bring in nay outside alcohol. Blissful palette catering will be set up selling a variety of alcoholic beverages for our attendees!

Hospice of Rockingham County has been offered an amazing opportunity to partner with The Blissful Ridge Art & Wedding Venue on a delicious holiday event!

Taste of the Holidays from Around the World will feature a six-course, chef-prepared feast designed to take you and your palate on a trip around the globe. Each course will feature a traditional holiday food plus, you'll learn some interesting history with each course.

Taste of the Holidays will be held five different nights - December 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 10th, & 11th - so check your calendar to see which works best for you. Tickets are $65/person and must be purchased in advance(tickets will not be available at the door). This will likely be a sell-out, so don't wait too long to buy your tickets!
