Thank you for wishing me for all the birthday wishes 🥳
Over 24 hours ago, two milestone event took place - my birthday and my work bestie's wedding ( ). We met two years ago during her work ride along with me and we clicked ever since. In between then to now, we've attended many music festivals, work meetings (physical and virtual), and overnight stays. We've been there for each other through the good times and the bad times with tears, laughter, and even a day of a over-drinking day recovering at her house. She asked me to DJ for her wedding a year ago which I've never done that and at the time, didn't know it was on my bday after I said yes. The last two months I have been DJing on the weekends all over Seattle and once in Tacoma. This was my first wedding and I stressed over how should I curate her day. Thankfully, she's not that kind of girl that wanted traditional music and opted for more electronic music.
Over the weekend, not only I DJed the entire event from the beginning to the end, but for the first time, performed on the piano playing songs from video games tracks to improvisation. By the end, everyone came together to wish me a happy birthday especially Kristin with a customized cake that had Tifa's theme on the cake deco on top. F**k, that made me cry 😢 Despite sweating and overheating so many times during her wedding, we were blessed to celebrate this historic event in the making and I wouldn't do it any other way. I'm 35 years old and my best friend is married. Congratulations to us I love you and we have so many more cool ass s**t coming up ♥️
