Ok, so I have a question. And let me preface this with I appreciate the good intentions, but if you aren't ready to put action behind your comment, please refrain unless it's actually helpful/resourceful. Anyhow, I'm trying to plan (yes, it has to start now) a back to school block party hosted by Aunt Steph's Kitchen. I've already been in contact with the city of Reynoldsburg & it's definitely doable. But I'm interested in having barbers/hair stylists come out, I'd like to gather supplies, we gon bbq & feed folks too. I'd like to have a cpl bounce houses & other outdoor things to make it fun for the kids as well. And then we can end the evening with an outdoor movie on the projector/inflatable movie screen for those that want to stay a lil later. I really just want this to be a great event for the kids, but block party style like we used to have (I'm an 80's baby so the block parties used to be lit!) with NO DRAMA & resources to get these kids started back to school with the supplies & confidence they need for a successful year. Looking for people to help, in ANY way. If you have a business you'd like to promote to come out & set up a table. If you're the person with the skill & you'd like to help. If you'd like to contribute school supplies or food. If you'd like to contribute time & energy to a good cause. It's going to take alot of planning, coordinating & volunteers to pull this off, but I'm confident we can do it! 💪
