How it all started...
This whole idea for a business came about when I stopped in to see a friend at work one night, she was working for a local news station. She was working on planning her upcoming wedding and stressing out, as many brides do, but this night it was about who would officiate her wedding. They didn't have a church they attended regularly, and wanted a special ceremony like many couples do. So I piped up and said, ‘well I could always go online and get ordained like Joey on ‘Friends’’, not expecting what came next, she said, ‘Really? You would do that for us?’. Of course, at that point what was I to say but, ‘Of course I would, let me look into it’. So I went home that night, freaked out a little, went online and discovered it in fact was just that easy.
After officiating her ceremony, I realized I loved it. Soon after, I consulted with a local attorney to make sure that I had all my details in order and a business was born. I have officiated ceremonies for many occasions, situations and people, being a part of their special day is something I always treasure and treat with the upmost respect and anticipation.
