It started with Guitar Hero on the Wii . . . yeah, really, a game!

And the seed for Rein.Rocks was planted: to transform a guitar into an electron-fueled, tube-glowing, speaker-pumping weapon for expression.

With much pride and excited anticipation, Shockoe Records is proud to announce the completion of 65432 by REIN!

In collaboration with Shockoe Records, REIN has created something that doesn't really exist in today’s landscape: a guitar-driven pop/rock album that's emotional, technical, powerful, and unforgettable. A modern love letter to guitar heroism and authentic songwriting in an era that's mostly forgotten what that means.

"65432 is the most passionate and curiously produced project I've ever made. Every detail is loved and bespoke. We obsessed over it all," says front man Jordan Reinecke. "Shockoe Records gave me the time to do this right, and now we need your help launching it nationally.

Immigrants founded and built our nation. On November 20, VOXRVA and The Valentine invite the community to an unforgettable evening of Immigrant Stories: Past and Present, a live storytelling event celebrating the courage, resilience and hope of those who have made Richmond—and America—their home.

This event is inspired by the Valentine’s exhibition Generations: Stories of Asian Americans in Richmond. While not required, storytellers are encouraged to incorporate a meaningful object into their narrative.

Please attend as a storyteller or simply as an audience member. The event is free but registration is required.
