Okay but! I'm now obsessed with these buttery yellow sunflowers. 😂🫠 They are so dang cheery!! I feel so happy that summer blooms have begun in earnest and I am so excited to share them with others. 💛

Roses were another short and quick season over here! They were so pretty though, fragrant and frilly in tones of peach and cream and pink and yellow. 🥰

These English garden roses only last about 3 days in the vase. Would you buy a bouquet knowing it only lasts a 3-4 days? I'm curious to hear your thoughts! 🤔

Peonies were such a short, beautiful season. I planted 9 new plants this year (which for my teeny space is a lot!) But wish I could have planted 100 😪🤩. They are the most beautiful surprise when they open up, aren't they? 💕

Guysssssss (sssssssee what I did there 🐍 😂)! We have already seen *so* many snakes on our property this year. Rat snakes! Garter snakes! This lil fella I uncovered hiding under a rock while I was weeding yesterday! Thankfully the last copperhead we saw was in the fall (it literally was just chilling, slithering around our patio 🫠).

Are you afraid of snakes? Y/n 😂😂😂

I grew a handful of these grow your own cut flower garden bundles, and can't wait to see how they do for others! 👩🏼‍🌾 Gomphrena, scabiosa, marigold, zinnia, cosmo, celosia, and strawflower. All varieties I'm growing myself! 🤩

Another week, another batch of sunflowers! Can't even WAIT to see these bud up and bloom in two months! They're a variety called Peach, with moody dark centers but cheery bright yellow petals 🥲🤩💛

I have so little sunny space, I struggle to know what to keep to enjoy myself and when to clear a space for more cut flowers. I planted this woodland phlox *years* ago (maybe five?) and while it's too short for using in bouqs it's been lovely in little bud vases and growing in front of our house. 💜🏡

What's blooming in your yard right now!? We've also got a dogwood covered in flowers, Solomon's seal, and some foxgloves and peonies on the way. How about you? 🤩

I tucked in so many plants yesterday to be watered in by today's rain 🌧️☔! And happy to see that same rain wash away all this pollen 🫠. I can't wait to see these grow into beautiful flowers...! Have you planted any summer annuals in your garden yet? What's your favorite flower to grow?

If you get flowers from me this season there's a very good chance these little hands helped grow them. 🥲 Elli loves working in the garden and today helped me plant out some sunflowers and dahlias. 💛 He also tossed a few dahlia tubers down the driveway and dumped out a tray of orlaya so I'm keeping an eye on him and docking his pay 😂😂😂

Daffodil season is coming to a close for me! I ordered a few more varieties to add to the mix but have been so happy with the beauty and fragrance and abundance of this season's flowers!

If you'd like to plant some specialty daffs to cut for yourself next year, order now for a fall delivery. ✅

My favorite heirloom variety this season was "Cheerfulness," it has long stems, multiple ruffled blooms on each stem, and a really beautiful smell. ☀️
