Today I talked to the Routt County fair in Hayden, CO. They need help saving their derby. If we don’t get them a good car count this year, the derby is in danger of going away for good! Typically, they are a stock only show. They are going to allow Garfield county/rifle, co cars enter this year. If we get enough cars to show up on Friday, August 18th at 7:30pm. We’ll have a show we can run in the future as well besides grand junction and rifle. SAME EXACT RULES AS RIFLE!!!! Message me for the rules since routt county hasn’t got them on the website yet! Everyone always talks about wanting to save the dying sport of derby…. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!

They’re going to work starting today on getting sponsor money so we can take home a little bit of cash. Let’s save this derby and get us somewhere else to run big cars in the future! Let me know or Travis Tiffany if you can make it asap so I can relay back to my contact in Hayden. Garfield County Demo Derby is fast approaching! July 29th! Gates open at 3pm, sign ups end at 6:30pm, show starts at 7pm
This is the schedule of events as of now:
7 pm Opening ceremonies
-first round SxS/UTV racing
-compact car/truck/suv figure 8 wreckin race
-second round SxS/UTV race
-third round SxS/UTV race
-“stock” car derby
-final rounds SxS/UTV race
-Ranch truck derby
-main event limited weld derby

Sheets can be filled out and delivered to PFS Truck,Diesel & Automotive repair Monday-Friday 8-5.
-They can be scanned and emailed to [email protected]
-Derby entry fees are $50 per vehicle per class, this covers the driver and one crew member
Payments can be made with cash or check in person or through Venmo, contact me for further questions.

Not for the derby but getting some trucks ready for the mud bog at the Garfield County Colorado Fairgrounds this Saturday night at 6pm for the Rifle Rendezvous. Hope to see you there! Payouts for every class! It is a fundraiser for a great cause to supoort the Northwest High School Rodeo Club. Register at the gate the day of the event. Drivers meeting is at 5:30. Bring a truck, atv, SxS or whatever to run through the mud.
