The Loretto Chapel is a Gothic Revival-style church built in the late 19th century, inspired by Sainte-Chapelle in Paris. It features pointed arches, intricate stained-glass windows imported from France, and an elegant vaulted ceiling. The chapel was originally constructed as part of a school run by the Sisters of Loretto. Its design reflects European influences, yet it maintains a modest size appropriate for its setting in Santa Fe. Today, the chapel is no longer used for religious services and operates as a museum and popular wedding venue.
