Got the privilege of going back to my hometown this weekend to do a setup for a very special man. Jay is a well-known and respected teacher, coach, husband, dad, and grand-dad in Henry County. I’ve known Jay, his wife, and his two daughters since I was a small child and you will never meet a group of more kind, down to earth, and humble people (not to mention smart, all 4 are teachers!!) 🥰

Jay has made a difference in hundreds of kids’ lives for the better over the past several decades between teaching and coaching. He always had the best sense of humor- he can joke around and banter with the kids and they love him for it! He always was and will continue to be a positive light no matter where he goes.
Jay wasn’t able to celebrate his birthday this past year because he was battling throat cancer. Fortunately, cancer couldn’t get the best of his spunky spirit and he recently completed his last radiation treatment! 🥳
When his wife reached out to me and asked if I could create an arch for a surprise party to honor his successful treatments/late birthday, I couldn’t say anything other than absolutely! Congrats Jay! 🎗️❤️🖤

Also, if you need a venue in the Martinsville/Henry County area, I would highly recommend checking out The Barn at Riverwood Farm . It’s an absolutely breathtaking venue owned by the sweetest people!! 🐴🌾🤍

It’s owned by a super good friend/coworker of mine and she has done a fantastic job with putting her whole heart and soul into making this an amazing addition to the community! I would 1000% recommend checking it out!

She is also planning to offer birthday parties after the New Year!
