Homecoming Weekend #2 we did it!!! Thank you so much to everyone who came to match flowers and even bow ties and outfits with us! We LOVE to do this and appreciate your business more than you know!

We also set Newman’s outside Patio for homecoming (felt like setting up a small wedding!) with the help of Extreme Rentals, Andrew Olson, Woody, and Sterling Fence! What a great night for the kids! I hope they had a blast! It’s been another crazy week 💕💐💃🏼🕺🏼

7.15.23 Faith and Tyler

I’ve been watching this girl grow up at Deer Valley since I started my business in 2003. My first memory of Faith was her at the Bridal Show at Sauk in her Flower Girl dress promoting Deer Valley Banquet Hall. She’s been watching wedding receptions her whole life out there and has seen it all. Faith knew exactly what she wanted her dream wedding to look like. Thank you Faith and family for trusting me with your wedding flowers, rentals, and Formal Wear. We hope your day was what you’ve been dreaming of. 💕💐

It was my honor and pleasure to get to be part of this day and to serve the Sandrock Family once again.

6.24.23 Yde/ Garcia Wedding- check out these guys and all their awesome formal wear rented by Selmi’s Formal Wear! These guys were all over the map and we helped them with their wedding formal wear- it was a breeze and they look amazing!

We also helped with some of the reception rentals- skirts and head table pillars at Champs.

Many years ago…. During this week you could catch Grandma Selmi making Silk Memorial Day pots in the back of the greenhouse for our customers. Grandpa would deliver them to the graves and make sure that those who have passed were always remembered. 💐

Each year they made sure their own family members had flowers to mark their graves- and still the tradition continues. They taught us what hard work is and they taught us to never forget our loved ones. 💕💐

I still make Cematary cones and baskets for our family and friends and we have them for sale at Selmi’s Flower Shop - so take a moment and remember those who have passed. Mark their stones with some beautiful Memorial Day pots from us!

Last night was our final area prom- we sent these Rock Falls kids off in style once again. I can not thank you enough for all shopping local for your tuxes and flowers. It’s an absolute pleasure to be here to serve our community with tuxes and flowers. You all look amazing and we were happy to get to help you each individually pick out your perfect outfits and floral accents!
