Friday Night Flix moves to the Coronado Theatre for Summer of 2025!

2025 Dates: June 13 • July 11 • August 1

Since 2010, Friday Night Flix has been a well-attended and FREE community event hosted at Davis Park, managed by ASM Global, in Downtown Rockford. While Davis Park is undergoing renovations, Friday Night Flix is moving down Main Street to the Coronado Theatre. Moviegoers will enjoy family friendly activities and food vendors before the movie plays on the big screen!

The Rockford NAACP Branch hosted their 2nd annual Black History Month Celebration yesterday at the Coronado Theatre! The event showcased many talents from the Rockford community including drummers, singers, a choir, poets, and dancers. Awards were also presented to high school students for their notable essays on influential Black figures that inspire them and to Reverend Perry Bennett. Thank you to the Rockford NAACP Branch for this impactful event!
