I Love Lucy’s Alteration’s
As a child Lucy learned to sew clothes first by hand, then on a sewing machine. She improved her trade little by little year by year. As a young adult she worked in the clothing manufacturing in Manhattan NY and with determination, she soon opened her first business in Queens New York, L&G Fashions. There main item of production were leather jackets, skirts, pants and vests. After decades working with leather products, Lucy and her family moved to the great state of Texas where they changed business and opened a Dry Cleaning Store. There she continued to provide alteration services for many years. Now retired, Lucy still enjoys working and servicing a small client base.
