Chef Sara Guevara's story is memorable: After a near-death experience in 2022, she decided life was too short not to chase her culinary dreams. She has since co-founded TWO catering businesses (Candy Coated Chaos Co. and Mr.G's SoCal) and now serves as a chef at the Walmart AMP—all while competing in local culinary competitions for charitable causes and feeding families in need.

🇲🇽🇮🇹Drawing on her Mexican and Italian heritage, this San Diego native and published cookbook author brings bold flavors and authentic recipes rooted in generations of family tradition. Today Chef G., our team, and the Candy Coated team are competing at NWA Burger Competition for Miracle League NWA.

Chef G’s Burger:
All beef patty seasoned with Bang Bang seasoning, with made in house ginger sesame aioli, and topped with creamy pepper Jack cheese, bacon, pickled red onion and cucumber, arugula, and a sweet and spicy gochujang sauce.
