Big news! After a year of balancing life between two cities, we’re thrilled to announce that Ascend Events is relocating to the Aumsville/Stayton area. This move won’t affect any current clients, and all future bookings will be billed from Aumsville, Oregon. We’re excited to continue growing and traveling, just as we always have. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us during this exciting transition! Here’s to new beginnings!
Fun fact: We were going to keep the original barn doors here and make them out-swing doors instead of sliding doors. We decided with wind and lack of light, we should go a different direction. I’m so happy we did! These doors are such a statement. 🤍

When the light hits just right…
What you don’t know about this picture is I set all this up earlier in the day. However, the HDIC (the head DAD in charge) came back through and made sure things were just right. Adjusting and maneuvering small details. The Bride and I just laughed and said he needed something to do. But what’s great about this, when I see this picture (I’m crying btw) I see Shaun’s work, not mine. And A few months after this was taken The HDIC passed after a tremendous fight with cancer. This picture to most is just a tablescape. But to me and probably Lauren is the love of a father making sure his Only Daughters Day was nothing less than Perfect.
