Happy Friday! 💛 This week was a little rough adjusting back from our time in Italy. I mean how do you come back from one of the most amazing trips of all time?! (Also, sorry if you follow me on my personal gram you’re getting a double dose!)

All four of us are up at odd hours of the night and taking 5pm naps during the day 😆 regardless we spent last Friday celebrating my brother-in-laws nuptials and dancing the night away with a dj and incredible saxophone player.. I mean come on! Anyways we’re back and re-living all the fun that was last week, ciao!

I was finally able to do the hot cocoa stand at our families Christmas Cabin this year. We were lucky to have a little bit of snow on the ground, I had hoped for a winter wonderland with snowy trees but that wasn’t the case. Either way everyone had fun and we enjoyed this fun little stand together! ❄️✨❤️☃️

The day has finally come and this lemonade stand has finally lived her original purpose as a lemonade stand! 💫🌻💛🐝🌞

I’ve had and used this stand many many times. She’s been a rodeo stand, popsicle stand, flower stand and more! I never thought when I picked this thing up (and became friends with the random woman I bought it from 😂) that it would be such a big part of parties and events we have. So bravo Lemonade Stand, you did it! 🍋🍋

Here’s a couple tips on hosting that have helped me👇🏼

☝🏼: Invite people over (the easy part)

✌🏼: Do one thing well, and cut yourself slack on everything else. Every Pinterest party has all the amazing details. That’s not always reality. I usually pick one thing to focus on, whether it’s food, decorations (this is usually where I end up), or activities. And then make everything else easy. Don’t kill yourself trying to make everything perfect.

✨: A few small details make a big difference when you’re hosting a party. Some cute paper straws, a bouquet of flowers, or some balloons go a long way and are all inexpensive.

Last weekend we had a big “Pawty” for our littlest. 🎉🐶🦴🐾🐕🎾

She requested a puppy party and doggone it mama was gonna throw her a puppy party!

Our own puppy gave me a mini heart attack as I was unloading the cake and cupcakes from the car. She thought we were going for a ride, jumped in, narrowly missing the cakes and landed right on top of the cupcakes 😅🤣 I breathed a sigh of relief as the cupcakes were nothing special. So it sure wasn’t a puppy party without some puppy mishaps!

Our family trip to Mexico was an absolute dream (minus the bee sting and burned hand 🙃) but seriously this trip has renewed my soul!

I’m obsessed with all the colors and photo opportunities. If you have the chance to visit Puerto Vallarta do it! 🇲🇽

Haven’t posted since Christmas so here’s my mug with some cute painted otters 😆

January was a little rough as usual and I’m happy to finally be out of it! I’ve been on a creative break and starting to feel the spark again, yay! I’m not sure what I will come up with but I’m excited that the spark is back.
