I'm an air show guy - always loved sitting on the beach and watching some amazing skilled pilots - watch U.S. Navy Blue Angels on amazon prime and be prepared to be blown away - the training - the skill - how close the fly - literally matching off set color on the wings 16" apart at 400 mph - just beyond amazing and trust

Just finished City in Ruins by Don Winslow - great series if you are looking for a great new read- this is actually the final book of his career -also recommend all his works this Danny Ryan series and the Cartel were phenomenal reads- went out with a great finish- I will miss his stories - thank you Don Winslow

so day on we leave Philly Weds. night 6:40pm and arrive Rome 9:00am Thurs. - biggest worry for me now is making it through customs - 2 train connections and getting picked up in Naples for the 1.5 hour transfer to Positano - we were supposed to stop at a Winery at the base of Mt. Vesuvius for lunch upon arrival but literally a 4 car accident kept us in traffic for over 1.5 hours - we decided to skip and went right to Positano as we were exhausted - checked in and our 1st views

anyway Donna Paris Smithhas already down a great job with posting photos from the trip and I will add what I took over the course of the week - I will do 4 different post because it really was 4 different days/experiences for us over the course of the week- 2 days Positano and 2 days Rome and 3 different tours/ experiences - some of the people who made the trip memorable were Sorrentosilverstar Tizzano Luisa - Ulisse Charters with Mauro in Positano and Angelo from RollingRome.com golf cart tour- the boat tour and the golf cart tour were both all day charters just the 4 of us and the transportation with Luisa was also private car pick-up and transfers - Luisa was also great recommending times and itinerary as we navigated trains and her car service

so we just returned from an amazing week in Italy visiting my youngest Matt Smith who has been studying abroad in Rome as a Junior Finance Major at Penn State - apparently studying abroad means classes 4 days a week in Rome and every weekend visiting another city/bar in EU - but that's another discussion - also when you walk into a bar in a town square in Rome and the staff greets your son like Norm from Cheers - well that's another discussion

So accommodating and lots of dancing!

"Brian was so so accommodating to my very specific requests for playlists I had in mind throughout each part of my wedding. He went over all of the details with me to make sure it would be seamless, and it was!!! Such a professional and easygoing guy. He offers up-lighting, dance floor lighting, and even a photo booth service which we added last second, and again, he met our requests without a sweat! So many people took advantage of the photo booth and dance floor and had such a fun time at our wedding :) I will always recommend Platinum!!!!"
