Hey lovely people! It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? 🌸

The past few months have been quite eventful –and I want to be open and transparent with you all! During this time, my family moved to a new home, I’ve cherished extra moments with my kiddos, and I've been navigating life with an autoimmune disorder - though disheartening, I’m thankful to finally be getting some answers and get on a better regimen thanks to Gunderson! This period has been about readjustment and self-care.

I wanted to address the silence and assure you that this is not me slowing down by any means. Life sometimes requires us to press pause and focus on our well-being, regardless of the industry we're in. It’s all about finding balance and taking the necessary time to ensure we’re at our best.

Yes, girl I hear you, it's not the most thrilling topic, but trust me, it's SO important when wedding planning (especially when you don’t have a planner on your team to crush those numbers for you!).

it’s also important to remember that the amount each couple spends on their wedding day and the vendors who bring that day to life will obviously vary!

Remember, your vendors are key to making your day magical, and investing in them means investing in your memories. We've put together some general figures to guide your budgeting purposes.

The wonderful thing about weddings is the endless possibilities, though sometimes you might need to tweak your plans or budget a tad for those extra special touches like flower chandeliers 🤷🏻‍♀️

Secret time: I’m the definition of a lightweight. You know, the kind who’s ready to call it a night after two drinks. 🍸

I’ve officially hung up my party shoes for over a year now, but memories of my not-so-glorious barf city days are still fresh. And let me tell you, at weddings, I’ve seen too many brides drowning in shot offers until they’re more about surviving than thriving.

Here’s a golden nugget of wisdom for my fabulous brides-to-be: Team up with your bartender for a sneaky little trick. Ask them to swap those shots for water but let’s still call it tequila, shall we? 😉 Every bartender I’ve known is game for keeping our bride on the hydrated train vs the hangover haze.

They’ve got your back, preparing “shots” on the down-low, so you can keep toasting all night long without the next-day regrets.

Easter is just around the corner, and I just couldn’t resist this extremely easy, and oh-so-adorable DIY arrangement that’ll make your Easter table bloom with joy! 🎉

🐥🌼 This charming arrangement is sure to add a pop of color and a dash of whimsy to your Easter festivities.

Here’s how to create this sweet scene:

1️⃣ Start by gathering some fresh spring flowers or artificial floral. Daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths are perfect for this time of year! 💐
2️⃣ Grab a vase that will flit into your focal vase.
3️⃣ Now comes the fun part! Take your favorite Peeps Marshmallows and carefully place them between the glass and the vase, creating a delightful border of our fluffy friends.

Don’t stress. Minnesota rain is kind of like Florida. It’ll rain for a bit then clear right up. And with us, you’ll have 3 rain plans for the different types of rain anyway (sprinkling, quick hard rain, and all day deluge.)
