Y'all, we had a blast painting the Lovely Bones last night at Three Roads. It was Kaylee's birthday and we threw down in totally appropriate birthday style! I even got to surprise her by adding the glow in the dark effect at the end of the paint sesh. Y'all... Look at these glowing skelly hands! Aren't they rad!? I've had so much fun playing with the black lights this month. Of course, Halloween is tomorrow then bye-bye October. But hey, that means November is on the way and bringing all the classic autumn art inspiration with it. I hope you'll join me for some fun in the paint. Everyone can make art. Y'all we had a blast painting the Haunted House last night. I told you it was a small group with big energy. We laughed the night away playing in paint. I love hanging with Lynn and it was fantastic to meet her daughter Paige for the first time. Lynn is blessed with a rad family and I love when I get to spend time with them. Y'all, if you missed it then you definitely missed out. For real, we had an absolutely stellar time creating our glow in the dark circle of witches painting at The Clubhouse Tuesday night. Everyone got to flex their creativity and choose their own background colors. I am so proud of them for empowering themselves and the work they accomplished. What about these paintings? Didn't everyone do a fantastic job? I love glow paintings. It's so much fun painting with light! Ok, so, I bet some of y'all will notice my shaky camera work. What can I say though. We were laughing so much it was hard to keep the camera still. 🤣 Hey, if you've got a sad face because you missed this one, no worries friends. There's a few Halloween events left on the calendar. Y'all, Spike and I had an absolute BLAST hanging with the Crew at Oak Hill Veterinary. We did a Paint-Your-Own-Pet party and can I just say WOW! Look at these paintings, y'all! They all did such an amazing job. There were 20 of us painting but sadly Facebook/Instagram only lets me upload 10 pics at a time. 😏 I'll post the rest of the pics in the comments and y'all can vote on which ones you love the most by liking/loving your favorites.

Y'all, I love Oak Hill. I did a paint party with them two-ish years ago and fell in love with them. I've never seen a group of people that work together genuinely enjoy each other's company as much as they do. I chose them as Spike's vet because of that and both of us couldn't be happier. Spike absolutely adores them all. How many people can say their pet loves to see their vet? 😄

I told y'all it was an intimate group last night! Hahahaha. We had a whole oopsie daisy moment that I have to tell y'all about. So I thought no one had bought tickets for this event and I took the rare opportunity for a lil Monday afternoon nap. Y'all, I opened my eyes at 6pm to a phone call from the venue telling me I had people there to paint! My heart was beating out of my chest! I talked to Crystal and told her I was on my way then ran out the door. It turns out that Crystal thought she had ordered her tickets but she got distracted and forgot to finish checking out. Hey, it happens. 🤷‍♀️ The ADHD is REAL in me and I get distracted all the time. No worries here though. I set us up to paint and we had a fantastic evening hanging out. I love how their paintings turned out, too. The Great Pumpkin was always one of my favorite Halloween cartoons growing up and that little piece of nostalgia made the whole night perfect. Y'all we had a fantastic time painting the sugar skull beauty last night at The Clubhouse Sports Bar and Grill. They were a little nervous at first but once we got going, they really took off and embraced the process. We had lots of laughs along the way and check out how great their paintings turned out! Y'all, we had a ball painting Van Gogh's Graveyard last night. All of these fabulous people have been painting with me for at least 8 years now... Starting way back in the paint nite days. It was great getting to hang with them and catch up. Spike had a great time, too. He loves his new Auntie Rayna for sure. Of course, Spike loves anyone who spoils him with turkey treats. We celebrated friendships together with these gorgeous sunflower paintings. These fantastic women have been friends for decades! Once a year they get together crossing multiple states just to spend time with each other. I love that for them. We had a fantastic time painting together filled with plenty of laughter and even some gardening tips. 🤣

Y'all, we had a blast painting together. Although the subject for the evening was the Blue Ridge Mountains, a few decided to go rogue and paint a ghost graveyard instead. 🤣 I always appreciate when y'all go off and do your own thing. I'm super proud of everyone's work. Don't you think they did a great job? There are lots of fun events up on the schedule right now. Y'all, I'm so excited to kick off the first ever Plant and Sip event! I have a full house coming tonight and we're going to have a ton of fun playing in the dirt together. 😍🌿🍷🍾🎉🥳

Y'all, I had a fantastic time painting with the wonderful ladies from Life Ministries Thursday evening. A few of them were a little nervous at first, but I assured them that even though they claim to lack the ability to draw a straight line, we were painting circles and curves so they'll do just fine. 🤣 Y'all tell me, was I right or what? Look at these gorgeous paintings! Didn't they do an incredible job!? I know! All of these came out great. I had so much fun laughing the night away with these fine women. They really enjoyed themselves, too. You can tell by those beaming smiles. If you have a group of fabulous people that you'd like to share a creative experience with, let's talk about it. It only takes 5 people to book a private event and I travel to you wherever you want to party creatively. There's lots of art projects to choose from including clay sculpture, candle making and even craftier options like decorative pillows and wreath making. Y'all, we had a ball last night making our clay sculpture chickens! We laughed a lot through the whole night. I mean, c'mon... These chickens are adorable, goofy and each one is unique to the person who created them. Everyone learned a lot about how sculpture comes together from making the bones, adding the muscle and then giving them life with expression, posture and stylish flair. I love working with clay. It's so much fun to start with empty space and a few basic tools then filling that space with a whole 3 dimensional character. Go ahead and tell them how much you love their chickens. Happy Love Day, y'all. I've got my perfect little Valentine sitting on my lap getting belly rubs. The way he looks at me with those big brown eyes... Spike has so much love for me and I love him more than I knew I could. I hope you all have a wonderful day today and feel ALL the love with your favorite valentines. If you're in the lonely hearts club, that's totally ok! There are lots of sad puppers who want to be loved in a forever home. If you have the love and space to give, go adopt a pet from the Humane Society. There's nothing like the love you get from your fur family. ❤️❤️🐕🐾❤️❤️

Y'all... Candle making is FUN! For those of you that signed up but couldn't make it, I'm sorry you're under the weather and I hope you get well soon. We had so much fun making these wax roses and it's a shame ya missed it. The scent is amazing! Sandalwood, Rose and Vanilla... That's a delightful (and subtle) combination. What do y'all think about Sara's candle? Didn't she do a great job? She's never made a candle before or done any kind of sculpture work. I think she absolutely nailed it. I don't know about y'all but I'm hype to make more candles. If you're sorry you missed out, no worries. There will be more candle making in the future. Thanks for reading and watching the vid. Idk if y'all noticed, but I've been pretty quiet here lately. I haven't posted any new events or posted much at all, really. The truth is, I got some really bad news on Christmas Day that disrupted everything that is Artly. Don't worry, y'all... I mean, nobody died or anything. I just lost my whole entire website in a blink of an eye. The official answer is CRITICAL SYSTEM ERROR. The reality is I've spent the last couple of weeks rebuilding my business entirely. I took a long loooooooong moment, breathed deep, and decided that this crappy situation is actually a blessing in disguise. I've been thinking about rebranding for the last year. I don't just teach paint and sip classes anymore. There's so much more to Artly now: acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculptures, drawings, crafty things, etc. So I looked this CRITICAL SYSTEM ERROR in the face and decided that the time is now. Stay tuned for a whole new look to Artly Parties. (Yes, I dropped the Paint part.) Not only that, but I'm planning to add a new art form to the mix - needle and thread. Embroidery, cross stitch, plushies, and other sewing projects. I hope you'll enjoy trying something new. I know I'm excited about it. So stay tuned to see what's next for Artly Parties and me. ❤️🎨🎉🥳
