When Barbie was the hit of the summer last year, it was inevitable that we would get a request for a setup to match.

Now with Wicked hitting the theaters, we’re seeing a new trend in themed parties, with lots of pink/green elements, and I’m curious if we’ll be seeing any requests for a party to celebrate Elphaba and Glinda. 🤔

🧚 Are Halloween fairies a thing? Because if so, that’s what we got to be last night, when we snuck into to set up a spooky surprise. These kiddos will be arriving to school to see a Halloween picnic setup, and some cozy tents to hang out in as well. The lights were even flickering on and off as we set up - were the spirits helping us?? 🤔

This setup put us to the absolute TEST 🥴 but in the end, it was so worth it…

I learned how to make balloon garlands last year on YouTube, and since we’ve started I’ve come a looong way. But despite feeling like I’ve learned so much, yesterday was just one of those days where things kept. going. wrong. Every time we secured one side, the other collapsed, and after lots of literal tears and prayers - we finally got it! 😅

…and it was worth every tear, because it was the one element that this client was most excited about, and we were not going to let her down. It was also customized to her exact color requests, which is an option for every garland, and always a fun way to make a party unique 🎈

We had a fun opportunity to test out a new addition for next year - a 20 foot movie screen! - while simultaneously celebrating a great season for a local soccer club.

This was the last outdoor party of the season for us, but don’t forget that we book indoor parties year round! And keep an eye out next summer for bigger and better bell tent parties - now with a movie screen add-on option!
