A lot of work, a little play over the weekend at the 80th Anniversary Celebration Gala for St. Joseph’s Catholic School! Over 130’ of balloons dressed the ballroom of Saturday evening! It was a wonderful night spent with friends and community, all while raising funds for our schools safety upgrades. Love being a part of something so special!

One of the most special installs I’ve ever done. Not because it’s the 1st day of school, but it’s the first day of school EVER for my Twins! They’ll be five in a few weeks, and have spent every single moment at home with me, so this is a major transition for us all. They walked into TK today so brave and excited to learn and I couldn’t be more proud!

A special 8 year old had the best rodeo party there ever was. The Mechanical bull, and sheep scramble were a hit! I was even asked to create a very special piñata for him, and this belt buckle was almost too pretty to destroy. Happy 8th Birthday Maxon!

My client is obviously just as obsessed with my trademark Balloon Chandeliers as I am, so when she asked for a Spring Install I knew this would be a fun project. She asked to make it colorful and possibly add florals. She then said, “Maybe some succulents or something.” After I heard succulents, I was in full creative planning mode and dreamt up this beauty! It’s truly one of my best displays of artwork yet. The glass terrariums paired with my experimental balloon terrariums are what sent this install over the top. I just wish the photos could capture its amazing beauty. Gold Country Fairgrounds and Event Center 🦀 2022 CRAB FEED 🦀
I truly love my small town, and love being a part of events like this.
Had a great time last night supporting my community, and seeing all the smiles taking photos in front of my balloons. The proceeds of this event will benefit the fairgrounds livestock barn remodel. Congratulations on a fantastic turn out!
