STORRYYY TIME ✨

TFTI was an idea created in the beginning of the pandemic by the two of us, Kyler and Austin, and with time has grown to be something bigger than a fantasy. As DJ’s and creators, we have brought you monthly livestreams, TFTI takeovers, and our first TFTI event not so long ago. Now, we want to make our mark more permanent and found the best way to do so. Our FIRST merchandise is something unique and if you think about it it also brings people together, two things that make up TFTI one might say 🤔 swipe to see our custom pocket ashtrays !! It features the concept of TFTI as a design on one side, and on the other has the logo and a QR code that directs you to everything you want to know about us. They’re perfectly sized to travel with (about 3 x 3 inches), and they’re environmentally friendly (made of recycled materials, AND you’re doing a good deed by not throwing your butts on the ground - something our community needs). And another plus, when it’s not an ash tray, it doubles as a little pouch to hold anything you want …. Anything 😏🙃We’re really stoked to have made these for you, DM us or comment below if you want one! They’re $5 each 🖤

TFTI is goin campin! We are currently en route to one of our favorite festivals, Dirtybird Campout!! We will be holding down a renegade all weekend with some very special guests and will also be handing out some of the fresh new TFTI patches! Hope to see you there!

A quick appreciation post to all of you that follow us and keep up with everything that we, as a collective, have been up to. Although TFTI was created from two, we are constantly growing in more ways than one, and appreciate all the love and support you continue to give us.

Wow…. WOW!! What a NIGHT! We can’t thank you all enough for coming, supporting, dancing, and letting us show you how we throw a party for our scene, our community. Special thanks to the crew for setting up and blessing our ears. Plus with the lighting visuals (hit him up for LED clouds!). for being the other backbone of our collective and running all the behind the scenes to make this event happen. for collaborating on this epic event. INCOMING!✨✨ARTIST SPOTLIGHT ✨✨

We are VERY excited to talk about our headliner for Friday’s event, DJ Denise!

DJ Denise is no stranger to electronic music. Since her meteoric rise in the San Francisco underground scene in the late '90s under the guise DJ D, Denise has played countless events from Miami to Hawaii and everywhere in between, spreading her unique energy and style.

Between 2006-2013, Denise launched her music production career concurrently while running her record label, Mizumo Music. The label released over 180 EPs from local & international artists while her original songs & remixes were released on labels based out of Europe, Australia, North & South America, and South Africa.

In 2013, Denise stepped back from the label & production to focus on developing her career as a healthcare professional. But in 2020, just prior to the pandemic, Denise could no longer ignore her creative side and dusted off her studio computer. This decision proved to be fruitful as she grabbed the attention of DJ Dan's () label, InStereo Recordings. She now has 5 releases on this powerhouse with more in the pipeline and has ongoing collaborations with fellow InStereo artists The Incredible Melting Man (Canada), divaDanielle, Tone Abstract and Callback Funk.

When she's not DJing or tinkering in the studio, you can find Denise working as an ER Nurse, saving lives on and off the dance floor.

Ooh wee! Today’s artist spotlight is a very special one… it’s a spotlight AND a gig announcement all in one (swipe to see)! Today we talk about the friendship that built into a partnership between the Cats on Acid DJ’s, Austin and Kyler. Back in 2018, Austin (Higgins) *quick subtle DJ name change for you 😉 was throwing events with friends, specifically one called ‘Brunch AF’ where he booked Kyler (K²) to play. The connection first began there and about a month later, Austin spontaneously decided to join Kyler on their trip to EDC and the bond quickly grew. Fast forward another year, they became roommates, then a DJ duo, and onto business partners, co-creating TFTI (Thanks for the Invite), a DJ and events collective. Only in their late 20’s and they’ve managed to merge a room in their house into an oasis for DJ’s, hosting monthly livestreams and parties on Twitch (twitch channel link in our bio). You’ll hear them playing every type of music their soul desires on stream and at live gigs, from minimal, to tech house, to techno, breaks, drum n bass, and everything in between. And aside from being passionate about music and the scene, they both are very passionate about cars and roller skating, so if you don’t see them behind decks, they’re most likely skating around or going for a ride ;).

AND in other news about them, we’re announcing a Cats on Acid DJ gig this coming Saturday, July 10th with a stacked lineup! Pre-sale tickets are $10, comment or message us about it. We’re excited to party with you guys soon 🥳

✨✨ARTIST SPOTLIGHT✨✨ As promised … every so often we’re going to post about different artists to give them the spotlight and credit they deserve, and share with the community a little more about them. Today we talk about the other half behind TFTI, Kyler, aka K²!

Kyler, aka K², got into the dance music scene back in 2012, with his first rave being Zeds Dead at Spring Fling in Galt, and about a year later he took up DJing. One of his coworkers had a couple DJ setups and told him he could take some home to play with, and he ended up keeping them for years. They were a set of old Denon CDJ’s. Now, he’s co-founded TFTI, an events company and DJ collective, and him and the crew at have a majorrrr home base setup that consists of professional level DJ equipment, audio, and lighting gear (you’ll see it in action on their monthly live stream!) He enjoys playing from labels like Sola based in the UK, Habitat based in Germany, and of course, Dirtybird from the Bay Area. If you’re lucky enough to catch him at one his gigs or future events, best believe you’ll be getting down to some funky ass house and trippy ass techno !

✨✨ARTIST SPOTLIGHT✨✨ As a collective, we have decided to talk about different artists to give them the spotlight and credit they deserve, and share with the community a little bit more about them. We hope you like the concept and stay posted for the future ones to come ! For our first one, we’re starting off with TFTI’s very own, Austin, aka Prodigal.

Austin, aka Prodigal, got introduced to dance music back in high school and through the years became more and more invested in it. However, it wasn’t until after high school when he went to a Keys N Krates show in Old Sacramento that really got his attention and interest in the vibes of the music scene. He started learning to dance, and after experiencing the energy that the music brought out in people, he started taking dancing out with him to places like District30 and other underground raves which really solidified his passion for the music. After enjoying the crowd scene of raves, he decided to finally take on DJing in 2018, and has since continued his passion for music by co-founding TFTI, an events company and DJ collective. With a burning passion for music and dancing, he takes you on a journey through different world’s of sound. Some of his current favorite labels include Etiquette and Solid Grooves from the UK, and Roush from Spain, just to name a few…
