Hunt Series Returns To Antioch on Saturday Night!

7/24/24… Antioch, California: Saturday Night, The Joe Hunt Magnetos Wingless Sprint Tour, presented by Transport Products Unlimited returns to Antioch Speedway for the second time this season. Saturday’s race marks the final visit to the track for the series this year.

Saturday is Back to School Backpack Night at the track. 40 Backpacks loaded with School Supplies will be given away to lucky children that catch a frisbee. After the racing completion, they can head to the Wingless Drivers pit, whose name & signature is on the frisbee to receive their backpack.

The last time the Joe Hunt Magnetos Wingless Sprint Tour, presented by Transport Products Unlimited visited Antioch Speedway was on June 8th 2024. It ended up being a very exciting night of racing action.

It was San Jose’s Shawn Jones who captured the win. It was his first win of the season as he charged from 10th to the win. This Saturday Night will be the 5th race of the 2024 racing season & the final visit to Antioch this season.

On Saturday, the Joe Hunt Magnetos Wingless Sprint Tour, presented by Transport Products Unlimited will be joined by a four other divisions on the card. WMR Midgets, IMCA Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks, & Mini Stocks will help fill out the card on Saturday Night. .

The event will pay $200 to start the feature event on Saturday Night. Whoever is able to grab the top spot on the podium, will take home the $1500 to win prize for the fifth race of the 2024 racing season on Saturday Night.

We hope to see you at the track! The Pit Gates will open at 2:00pm, with the Grandstands opening at 4:00pm & Racing begins at 6:00pm on Saturday Night at Antioch Speedway.

Jacob Tuttle Captures Win in Placerville!

7/18/24… Placerville, California: On Saturday July 13th, The Joe Hunt Magnetos Wingless Sprint Tour, presented by Transport Products Unlimited was in action at Placerville Speedway. The series made its only visit to the track on Saturday Night.

Saturday Night, 29 Wingless Sprints were in the Placerville Speedway pit area ready to roll for the only time this season. Time trials kicked the night off & the #63 of Dylan Newberry captured the Dependable Crane Fast Time Award.

Benic Enterprises Heat Race #1 was won by the of Nick Larson. He started the heat race on the outside of the front row in 2nd. From 2nd, Nick ended up grabbing the lead & he was able to go on & win the heat race.

A.R.T Enterprises Speed Equipment Heat Race #2 was won by of D.J. Johnson. The defending series champion started the heat race on the pole. From the pole, he jumped out to the lead & went on to win the heat.

King Racing Products Heat Race #3 was won by the #23 of Robert Lindsay. Robert rolled off from the inside of row two in the 3rd position. From the 3rd spot, Robert was able to race his way to the lead & captured the heat race win.

Santomauro Racing Products Heat Race #4 was grabbed by the #32 of Shawn Arriaga. Shawn also rolled off from the 3rd spot. Shawn was able to grab a pair of spots, grab the lead, and go on to win the final heat race.

The B-main was the final chance for drivers to lock into the feature event. When the 12-lap B-main was done, it was Brent Steck who grabbed the win. Joshua Wooten would finish in the 2nd spot, with Braden Tenora in 3rd & Cody Meyer in the 4th & final transfer spot.

The feature event was another exciting race on Saturday. After the feature event, it was outside front row starter Jacob Tuttle who captured the win. fourth starting D.J. Johnson finishing 2nd, & 6th starting D.J. Johnson grabbed the final position on the podium.
