Did you know that Monarch caterpillars only food source is milkweed? Did you know that the female Monarch butterfly will only lay her eggs on milkweed? We are proud to help feed our Monarchs with milkweed that is native to Missouri! :) This special visitor is getting nectar from one of our Mexican Sunflowers!

Hi everyone! It's my turn to introduce myself :)
I'm Rachael Hogan - Social Media Manager and Assistant Events Coordinator out at Catalpa Springs! Anna and I met back in 2022 when my (now) husband and I needed help from a good friend and photographer to find a gorgeous venue to get married and Brittany Reed introduced us! The rest is kind of history I guess :) I'm now out there whenever help is needed, when I have a photography session, or when the boys just want some creek time! I'm so at home with the place and my plans are to be in this for the long haul! ❤ My hope for the future is for all of our clients to truly fall in love with Catalpa Springs and feel like family when they're out! We have big plans coming and I can't wait to share them with ya'll! We are so ready to serve our community!!
A couple personal tidbits about me are that a mom of 2 and amateur homesteader. I own chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and enjoy my garden that seems to be expanding yearly now! Staying at home and soaking in my family is where my real passion lies 🥰 I grew up in the Spring Bluff area and moved to Saint Clair about 6 years ago! Small town life is all I know, and that's alright with me. My most favorite thing to do is adding more to my plate! I juggle watching kiddos, photography, mom life, crafting and now I'm so ready for this beautiful journey my life is going to take serving couples and brides! 🥳
