Just another friendly reminder that A&M is no longer the large inflatable company. It is closed. My boys kept a couple units as a side job. We do not have any availability for the 4th.

As a general rule, if you want an inflatable for the 4th, you should be asking at least 3 months in advance. Any inflatable company will be completely booked for the 4th and the Saturday closest to the 4th. I always joked with folks that the 4th is the superbowl for inflatable rental companies.

We are happy to say that a local company has taken over some of our bigger attractions. Please reach out to Highball Rides if you want to book the mechanical bull, the rock wall, the Patriot Water Slide or the Nuclear Rush Obstacle Course.

Starting on 5/1 my boys will begin taking bookings for their business. The pictures below are the units they have purchased and will be available. We are working on getting their own website set up.

If you are interested in booking a unit please EMAIL ([email protected]) a booking request with your contact info, date, unit desired and location. I work a full time job now and my boys are in school, please do not call.

Some important changes:

1.) My boys are only 16 and 13 years of age. ABSOLUTELY no foul, abusive or demoralizing language will be used. Book knowing that you are working with teenage kids trying to learn to run their own business. If you are impatient, have unreasonable expectations or are just plain impossible to please , I ask that you do not book with them. Especially in their first summer, they are going to need customers with some grace and understanding.

2.) The delivery radius from Maryville will be considerably smaller than in the past. The boys will not be traveling more than 30 miles around Maryville. They will not be delivering to Iowa or St. Joseph.

3.) Delivery and pick up schedule is determined by the boys. If they cannot deliver or set up at a desired time then they will not take the booking. The goal is for them to set up units in the morning before 10 am and return that evening to pick them up BY 9 pm. That means if they have 5 units out, they will need to begin picking up by 7pm to get done by 9. This will not lend itself well to strict schedules.

4.) The boys will not be able to take cards at this time. Payment must be made by cash. NO CHECKS, the boys are not ready to deal with returned check nonsense.

5.) No concrete or outdoor hard surface sets. The boys are not keeping sandbags and they do not want the risk of setting up on these surfaces. They will set up in grass where they can use stakes to secure the units or indoors.

We have some sort of good news. A&M will not die all together. We are shutting the company down and closing the corporation. However, my two sons have decided that they want to buy a couple of the units from me and start their own company. Since they are my family I am going to allow them to DBA A&M Amusements. This will not be the same company that has operated for the last 6 years. This will be their company and they will run it as they see fit. That means delivery, set up, pick up, delivery distance etc will all be up to them.

In the coming weeks we will be working on getting the equipment ready for liquidation. We will begin listing it on May 1st. It is first come first served and we are not holding anything. Cash in hand gets the equipment.

The boys will be creating their own website, it will still be www.aandmamusements.com but it will look different and will not have the online booking feature we have now.

Please be patient and understanding as we continue the process of shutting our company down. Please have grace and understanding as my young teenage boys start their own business. They will have a great mentor but I want this to be theirs and I want them to learn how to do it their way.

I wanted to share an update with everyone. Our search for a new owner has turned up empty. We will be transitioning to a liquidation of equipment starting May 1st if a new owner is not found. This breaks my heart because we spent so much time and effort building the business just to see it go away.

We will not take anymore bookings at this time for any date.

Thank you to all our customers over the years and I hope I can find someone to take it over soon.
