Photography is something I’ve been wanted to do for a while and admittedly I was scared at first. Thoughts of “equipment is too expensive”, “I’ll never be good enough”, “running a business is hard I don’t know what I’m doing”, “my friends and family will make fun of me”, “what if no one likes my work” kept me from taking the leap for a while.
Late 2022, I decided to invest in some camera equipment just to see if I could get something up and running. I anticipated maybe doing a few shoots for family members and friends, but I never expected things to take off so quickly. I am more grateful than I’ve ever been for all the couples who have taken a chance on me and for all the support! If you had told me this time last year that I would be fully booked with weddings for 2024, I would have laughed in your face, yet here we are! 😂
If you have something you’re thinking of doing but haven’t been able to find the courage. I’m here to tell you, taking a leap and trying is so worth it. You never know what things can become and never trying is so much worse. Don’t be left wondering what could have been. Even if it doesn’t work out, it’s worth the risk.
I still struggle with fears of not being good enough some days while pursuing my passion, but I’m happier than I’ve ever been and excited to watch as my business continues to grow ❤️
