Bill Kubiak, 78, took his final paddle in this world Thursday, November 7th, at Open Arms Assisted Living in Duluth surrounded by loved ones. A SendOff Service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at 11am Saturday, December 21st with a gathering beginning at 10am at the Clyde Iron, Duluth. Bill’s Send Off will continue with a luncheon reception immediately following the service.

"Bill was always active and to watch him sit still was a sight to behold. If there was something to be done, he did it and there was no putting it off."

Siobhan K. Nelson, Age 44 of Columbus, Indiana (Formerly of Eagan, Minnesota), passed away on October 17, 2024 surrounded by her loving family after a battle with cancer. Siobhan’s life will be celebrated with a unique SendOff gathering at Royal Cliff Events, 2280 Cliff Rd, Eagan, MN 55122 on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Doors open at 1:00 PM, with a ceremony at 2:00 PM. Following the ceremony, we invite and encourage everyone to stay for an open-house style visitation ending at 5:00 PM.

Roger A. Tousley, age 88 of New Brighton. Loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather & brother passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 22, 2024. A SendOff service to celebrate Roger’s life will be 12 Noon Saturday, October 5th with a gathering beginning at 11 AM at Bunker Hills Golf Course, C**n Rapids.

Jodi Lyn Austin, age 56 of Albertville. Jodi passed away peacefully at Mercy hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on September 10, 2024. Jodi’s life will be uniquely celebrated with a SendOff on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Elm Creek Park Reserve Chalet, 12400 James Deane Pkwy, Maple Grove, MN 55369. The celebration of life will be open-house style from 4 PM to 7 PM, with a ceremony at 5:30 PM.

Steph Tharaldson, age 35 of Minneapolis, passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2024. An outdoor memorial service will be held to honor and celebrate Steph’s life on Sunday, August 25th. Venue opens at 10:30 am, with service beginning at 11:00 am, at Woods Chapel, 525 Leaf Street, Long Lake, MN.

"Deb was a vibrant woman, radiating beauty inside and out. Deb was a natural leader, being the eldest of six siblings and the ringleader of her large family. Family gatherings, cooking, and entertaining were Deb's joys, reflecting her generous spirit. She shared her love for the outdoors with Pat and their boys, cherishing moments fishing for walleye. Watching her boys grow up playing sports brought her great happiness, a testament to her own athleticism and love for her sons. Deb was more than an outdoor enthusiast and family woman; she was also a businesswoman. Starting Deb’s Trucking showcased her intelligence and hardworking nature."

Sebastian Maximiliano Santibañez was born in Maplewood, Minnesota after three days of labor on April 29, 2004. His life will be celebrated with a public memorial service on August 6, 1-3 PM, at The Lowlands in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

“There was a side of Sebastian’s life that was full of passionate intensity — whether it was planning to get together with friends, video games, sports, skateboarding, or producing music. When Sebastian cared, he put everything he had into it, and he was loyal to the end.

There was another side of Sebastian that was uniquely thoughtful, caring and empathetic. Sebastian always sided with the underdog. Always. He had a gift of seeing an unjust situation with clarity and speaking truth to power. A sensitive soul from his earliest years, Sebastian was quick to console a friend, share a sincere apology when he made a mistake, or to simply say that he loved you.

Words are difficult to find that describe the grief, confusion, and heartbreak left in the wake of his death. He will be forever missed and always remembered.”

Charlie's SendOff memorial was so ... Charlie. It was held at the most beautiful venue, Kellerman's Event Center in White Bear Lake, and nearly 200 people gathered to eat the foods Charlie loved, listen to the music that became the soundtrack to his life, and admire his prestine 1957 Chevy parked outdoors. The stories that were shared had the whole room laughing, and his daughter told us that if anyone who was there didn't know what kind of person her was dad before, they did when they left. Thank you to the Tubman family for letting us be part of such a special celebration of Charlie's life.❤️#kellermanseventcenter #uniquefunerals #sendoffmn

What exactly does a SendOff celebration look like? They're all one-of-a-kind, and each is as unique as the life being celebrated. Steve Griffith's SendOff was held on November 10, 2022, at Dellwood Barn in St. Paul, Minnesota. Steve was a 1979 graduate of Hill Murray High School. He played hockey at the University of Minnesota and then went on to play for Team USA at the 1984 Olympics in Sarajevo. Steve had a larger than life personality and could light up a room. Anywhere he went, he had friends. Most of all he loved his children and grandchildren. At Steve's celebration of life, special hockey pucks were created for guests to take home with them. There was room for hundreds of guests to mingle and share memories of Steve. It was a really special afternoon and such an inspiration to all of us at SendOff. What a beautiful tribute to a life well lived! Special thanks to videographer Tony Callen.

After Cheryl Hauser's diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, she reached out to SendOff to start planning her end-of-life arrangements. In this video, her daughters Sarah and Wendy share the value in pre-planning their mother's unique celebration of life, discuss their experience in working with the SendOff team, and more. Cheryl's SendOff was held at the Glass House MN in Minneapolis, with more than 200 guests there to raise a glass in her honor.
