Today, I described a partnered couple as so well-suited as a well woven wicker basket. The vines are stronger together than alone and they mesh well to create art.

2023 has been an amazing year for weddings. Next Sunday, I’ll be wrapping up my 16th wedding this year and my 28th since 2018. I have already begun planning for 2024 and have one wedding scheduled.

I do not advertise my services and it is all word of mouth. Each wedding I develop is unique to the couple and they help develop it as we work toward their big day.

Joined another happy couple on July 30, 2022.

Each time I serve as officiant, I personalize the ceremony. I ask them about their relationship, their love for each other and what are they excited about. I also include any fandom/themes to make their special day more memorable.

Yesterday was a delightful surprise. I was recommended to this cute couple to perform a short wedding ceremony. They gathered a few friends and I obliged.

Took place at Hidden Falls Beach at sunset. It was very romantic. They knew I didn’t have time to interview or prep as I normally do. even though this was a spontaneous and fun event, love was shared by all who attended.

Congratulations Gustav & Isabelle. May you find years of happiness together.

In 2020, a pandemic struck and people still wanted to solidify their unions. These two had planned on getting married at Twin Cities Pride and sadly it was canceled. I had the honor of filling in with a few days notice.
