Hey my peeps ...

Well it took a Herculean effort by the effervescent Wayde Brooks with my "Tomes Of A Warrior Poet" expertise to see this happen today.

David Potter's Family Fundraiser online auction is live right now.

My dear friend Heather Lundgren of Lagom North is curating and taking excellent care of this project by helming this auction for the Potter family.

If you were not aware, on June 26th 2023 our community bore witness to David W. Potter returning to stardust...and several hours before that..his brother Steve Potter also took the stardust express in Las Vegas.

By October of 2023, their mother Mary joined her two sons.

Warren and John along with John's family have endured.

We are hoping the proceeds from this online auction of David's treasures will help support this family as they process so much loss in a short time.

Most bids start at $5 with a habdful of lots that have a reserve to be met.

Please help me spread this link around to as many friends in your circles, film folks, theater folks, Ren fest folks, re-enactment folks, sword folks, Masonic folks, TKE folks, sci-fi convention folks Viking follss, and artist circles we can spread this to via social media channels.

Hey yall...sad news

We need to not gather for Fiber Bee tomorrow

So...our studio elevator has been doing "very strange things" as our building engineer shared and it will HOPEFULLY be repaired by end of next week.

We do not wish to have anyone stress themselves but climbing many industrial floors.

Full Moon Feast Community Dinner

Sunday February 25th 2024
6pm-8pm

Cost: Suggested donation $15

Doors open at 5:45, you will be let in by a greeter. Doors close and lock at 6:10pm.

We will feast on traditional home-cooked foods, delve into deep conversation, share stories and laughter, build friendships and experience the joy of coming together in community.

Each chapter from Full Moon Feast: Food and the Hunger for Connection by Jessica Prentice will be our guiding light for our monthly potluck.

February's gathering is inspired by the Hunger Moon, a time when food supplies would have been limited to the last of the foods stored for the winter. Meals would have been created from beans and lentils, winter squash and pumpkins, or root vegetables such as turnips,carrots, potatoes, beets, onions and garlic. Imagine succulent soups and stews simmering, roasted vegetable gratins, fresh baked sourdough bread, and satisfying sweets made from pumpkin or carrots. Let your imagination go as you create your own special dish to share with the community.

Please bring:
A dish to share with the community that you've made from traditional winter stores.

Your own place setting: plate, bowl, cup and utensils as this will help us to reduce waste.

Just want to share our appreciation to the epic vendors and creative seeking folks who joined us at our Raw Art Supplies Bazaar yesterday.

It was very fun, and getting to hug and be with folks I have not had the pleasure of seeing lately. It was also delightful to get to meet new neighbors on our floor and discover more folks from other floors who also came to visit.

It truly fed our Souls...

Annie and I called the event successful enough to warrant holding another one in the Mid Spring of 2024.....so start going through your art supplies stashes and applying the Swedish Death Cleaning principles in dealing with your posessions with mindfulness.

Free up the raw supplies to make more Beauty!!

The World needs it...and it also needs YOU.
