I Have Arrived On-Site - What's Next (Groom Edition)
Arriving on-site as the Groom, you are typically the first on-site to meet with the Setup Team and Coordinator. Look for our branded Gulf Beach Weddings Van and head for the beach! Most of the time we are able to get a parking spot in close proximity to the ceremony site. Your Day-of Coordinator will introduce themselves and let you know how much they have left to go or if they are ready. Typically, we may be putting on a few finishing touches to the setup as the Groom arrives. The Groomβs job is essentially pretty easy - enjoy yourself and the sand on the beaches alot of time the groomsmen come along it's a good time to relax and ease the tension before the ceremony. Weβll point you in the way of the Officiant as heβll have more information about your role in the ceremony. Be yourself, have fun as guests arrive and let them know they can't walk down the aisle way - itβs saved for the Bridal Party! If you have any custom decor, now is the best time to work with the Setup Team to get it incorporated into your Beach Wedding! In most cases, the groom will wait up front at the archway facing the ocean waiting for the officiant to turn them around for that first look!! Less often, the Grooms do walk down along with the bridal party. Sometimes to es**rt the parents of the couple down the aisle.
