Paige Weber Photography Hi there! I'm a Colorado-based Elopement Photographer.

While Colorado is my home and my first love, I'm a huge fan of traveling all over the world to capture adventurous elopements & weddings!

Yes, they did hike that pizza over a mile 🍕 That’s the beauty of eloping. You get to do whatever you want on your wedding day. If you want pizza in the mountains I’m here to call in the order ahead of time and cheer you on!

I’m a little salty that it’s almost mid November and we have ZERO snow at my house. Do your snow dances everyone because we need winter to start in Colorado already!!

Resharing this magical winter elopement from November 7th to show what it should look like right now 😭

Give me lotsssss of snow, cute dogs in sweaters and booties and badass people who love winter as much as I do. Francy, James and their cute pup, Shelby, stole my heart last year with their 2 day backcountry elopement near Breckenridge ⛷️

Now excuse me while I wait very impatiently for snowboarding season to start ❄️

What if I told you..you don’t have to choose between an intimate elopement and celebrating with your favorite people?! ✨

You can totally have both!

Picture this: Day one is just the two of you. You hop in the Jeep, chase the sunset into an alpine basin where you land at an epic view where you can see for miles. You’re surrounded by nothing except for the alpine air, each other, and the glow of the sunset. No pressure. No timeline. Just the two of you soaking it all in. Then you end the evening sipping drinks next to the campfire and viewing the milky way with your naked eye 💫

Then the next day? You have a slow morning eating brunch and getting ready with your favorite people. You throw on your wedding attire again and have a sunset wedding with all of your guests present without feeling rushed or exhausted! You already had your private, meaningful day. Now you get to relax and enjoy every moment with your people who traveled all the way into the mountains to celebrate with you!

Two days. Two totally different vibes.

Most couples don’t even realize this is an option, but it’s honestly one of the best ways to keep your wedding day stress-free, meaningful, and full of connection.

If you’ve been stuck trying to decide between a “just us” elopement and a wedding with guests… This is your sign that you don’t have to pick one. You can do both!!

Check out the photos to see how other couples eloped AND had an intimate wedding.

What I loved most about Sofia and Matt’s elopement in Ouray wasn’t the epic views (though, trust me, they were unreal 🏔️).

It was how unrushed the whole day felt.

They started slow, coffee in hand,, laughter filling their little Airbnb.
When they saw each other for the first time, it was like time stopped for a second. ☕💛

They hiked through streams, split a PB&J halfway up the trail, and changed into their wedding outfits surrounded by peaks and silence. 🥪

Every part of the day felt like breathing in wild mountain air for the first time. So refreshing, peaceful, and exciting.

There was no strict timeline, just two people following curiosity, joy, and each other.

That’s what makes an elopement special. It’s not about the views, the dress, or the plan. It’s about creating space for the things that make you feel alive.

For Sofia and Matt, that meant hiking until sunset 🌅, sharing vows with the mountains as witnesses, and ending the night under the stars with tacos and cold beers in hand.

For you, it might look completely different. Maybe it’s a quiet canoe ride. 🚣‍♀️
Maybe it’s sharing your favorite trail snack halfway up a mountain.
Or, maybe, it’s something you haven’t even dreamed up yet.

Whatever it is, let it be yours. ❤️✨

… and know that whenever you’re ready to start planning, I’ll be here to help!

Snow-covered peaks. Frosted trees. The world going quiet around you.
Winter elopements in Colorado feel magical, but let’s be real, they’re also cold. 🥶

The good news? You don’t have to freeze to have that dreamy, snow-dusted day you’ve been picturing.

With the right prep (and maybe a few dozen hand warmers 😅), you can stay cozy, comfortable, and completely in the moment.

I’ll bring the JetBoil, you bring your love, and we’ll make the mountains our winter wonderland. ❄️🤍

Where are all my winter-wonderland lovers?! 🙋🏻‍♀️

Capturing love stories is an adventure in itself. 🥰

Among the countless moments I’ve experienced as an elopement photographer, witnessing my couples create their distinct rendition of an adventure elopement sits high on my top ten favorites list.

Every perfectly crafted adventure effortlessly mirrors their courageous souls and undeniable bond in the most authentic ways.

From wandering through towering trees hand in hand, to having a picnic in the Colorado wilderness while indulging in your favorite treats, from hiking trails, to making pizza on top of a mountain peak - every adventure narrates a one-of-a-kind love saga that deserves to be celebrated in its own unique way.

👆️👆️This is what eloping is ALL about!! It’s about curating an out-of-the-box wedding experience that resonates deeply with your story.

As you plan the most fantastic adventure of your life, remember: it’s yours to define. And let me assure you, whatever visions dance in your minds are wayyy beyond perfection.🙃

So, what does an adventure elopement mean to you?

They call em ‘man’s best friend’ for a reason. 🙂🐕

Seriously, if you can’t imagine getting married without your furry bff, then don’t! I promise you won’t regret it.

Especially if you dress them in tiny tuxedos and have them stamp their sweet little paw on your marriage license as your witness! 🥰🐾

Are you planning on bringing your pup to your big day?!

What would happen if you silenced the noise, ignored tradition, and put your love above everything else on your wedding day? 💛

You’d have one hell of an adventure, just like Hannah & Quin.

They celebrated their love with only each other… and their sweet pup.

They got ready together in the wilderness, hiked to a waterfall to exchange vows, had their dog stamp their marriage, and ended the night by the fire — eating pizza, stargazing, and camping under the stars.

Choosing to elope lets your spirit run wild, embrace adventure with your favorite person, and create memories that feel like magic.

Hannah & Quin let go of fear, followed their hearts, and were rewarded with a soul-satisfying day that felt like their own perfect little paradise.

If there’s one piece of advice I can offer you, it’s this: don’t be afraid to do it differently. Say yes to adventure, to joy, to a wedding day that looks and feels exactly like you. 🙌

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but in the fall of 2026, this could be you.

Fall elopements in Colorado > when the air is crisp, the mountains glow gold, and every trail feels like your own little path to paradise! 🥰

If you’re a fall fanatic like me, there is no place more magical than Colorado to elope!

Here’s what to know before you plan your fall elopement in Colorado 👇

Pros:
🍁 Cozy temps (45–65°F) and that perfect mountain chill
🌾 Golden aspens lighting up the San Juans late September
🚙 Fewer crowds + still-accessible 4×4 roads for epic adventure spots

Cons:
❄️ By late October, snow can roll in early — especially in higher elevations
🚗 Leaf peeping weekends can bring a little extra bustle around town

If you ask me? There’s nothing quite like fall in our colorful state. Bring your favorite layers, your person, and let’s make magic in the mountains. 🏔💛

An elopement that makes waking up before dawn feel like the best idea you’ve ever had. 🌄🥰

Claire and Shawn planned a two-part fall elopement at Brainard Lake Recreation Area. Their day unfolded slowly, intentionally, and beautifully. Their adventure began while the rest of the world was still asleep. With only the glow of their headlamps to light the way, they hiked beneath a sky full of stars to the spot where they would exchange their private vows.

By the time we arrived, the sun had just started to rise, spilling soft golden light across the lake. After a quiet moment to soak it all in, they changed into their wedding attire and shared a first look as the basin lit up in warm hues. Shawn turned to see Claire, grinning and radiant, and the world fell perfectly still. 💛

There is something so special about that kind of intimacy, when the only sounds are the soft wind and the first birdsong, and all that exists is the person standing in front of you. They read their vows by the still alpine water, honest, vulnerable, and completely their own. Surrounded by stillness and light, they began their marriage in the most peaceful way possible.

Later that morning, after a cup of coffee made mountainside, part two of their celebration began. Surrounded by family and friends, they held an intimate ceremony overlooking the lake. Flower girls blew bubbles, friendship bracelets were shared, and every detail, from Claire’s bouquet ribbon to their patterned socks, carried a story.

Their day was unforgettable for so many reasons.
The quiet sunrise, the laughter, and the way they moved through each moment with presence and gratitude. It was the kind of day that reminds you what really matters: love, connection, and the courage to do things your own way.
