Our best advice for a backyard wedding?

-Plan out parking, restrooms, and garbage options as soon as you know your space
-Create a weather backup plan
-Remember that you usually need to do a bit of yard work leading up to the wedding day 😊

Meet Jessica!

Jessica is a co-owner and wedding planner of Eventfully Sweet Events. She is from Salt Lake City, Utah but has lived in Southern California and Eastern Idaho for a couple years. She moved back to Utah after receiving her degree in Event Planning, started this company, and has absolutely loved it! She has been planning events most of her life and has loved fulfilling her dream of planning weddings professionally.

When Jessica isn’t planning weddings, she is exploring her hobby of interior design, roaming the aisles of Target, watching a musical or rom-com, decorating for holidays and parties, painting with watercolors, flower/plant shopping, hiking, going on walks, and spending time with her family. She is obsessed with color schemes and has a Pinterest board full of them!

After meeting her husband in Southern California, Jessica loves going back to visit. You will always find her at the beach or Disneyland while there. Jessica and her husband have been married for 5 years and have a sweet 5-month old baby boy.

Jessica loves working with brides and helping create a beautiful and memorable day for them. She loves being part of your special day and feels blessed to have met so many wonderful people while in the industry!

It’s time to start showing our faces on here more! Starting with Afton 😊

Afton is one of the co owners of Eventfully Sweet. She is originally from Eastern Idaho, but has absolutely loved living in Utah for almost 4 years now. She has been planning events and her friend’s weddings since the 7th grade 🤪. Starting up a business with one of her best friends (who will be showcased soon) has been a dream.

If she isn’t working on events, she is figuring out adventures and places to travel with her husband of almost 5 years and 18 month old daughter. Some of her favorites are Florida, Puerto Rico, DC, Boston, and the Oregon Coast.

As of this last year, she has declared herself a Swiftie after going to the Taylor Swift concert in Vegas. You’ll most likely hear her listening to her music while setting up for events!

She has loved meeting so many brides and vendors. Doing this has been a dream come true!

We are Eventfully Sweet 😊 Here’s a few facts about both of us: -Jessica and Afton met while taking a cooking class in college -We both had the same Major in college (Catering and Event Planning) and graduated only a year apart from each other -We both have been married for about 5 years -We both have 1 child -We both really love the Wedding Industry, and have had many various jobs together in that industry, so why not have a business together?
