My granddaughters, Marina and Giada, have been "godsends" the past week! They stayed with Glenda while I was hospital-bound and Marina has been our "chauffeur" since we really can't drive right now! Giada, as well as Marina, has fixed breakfast for us. Thank you SO much, girls. SO BLESSED! De Colores!

Our show, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was a big hit tonight! My undying thanks to the wonderful cast, who worked their tails off! The reception they got from the audience, I think, may have spurred some thespian thinking into some kids!
I couldn't have asked for a better cast, so willing to learn and go "out of the box"!
Glenda and I are so thankful for the opportunity we got to work with these wonderful kids!

One week from tonight! That's right! Next week, at 6:00 at CCSA, on Bryant South, SALT, the Home School Co-op, will be presenting Snow White and the Seven Dwarves! There is no admission charge, and, I promise, these 15 kids, who have been rehearsing for 4 months, have done a superb job and the final product is shaping up marvelously! Please come out - it's about 45 minutes to an hour. These kids, aged 8-15, have so much talent and creativity! I/we are so impressed! If you get a chance, you will NOT be disappointed!

Well, I finished reading the Old Testament the other day and now, the New Testament beckons. ay I read Matthew 1, the genealogy chapter, so to speak, which I KNOW I had read before but didn't remember it. Today, Matthew 3, where Jesus is baptized and I read John's response to the people who were being baptized for the "show" of it. Again, I don't remember reading that part. I am ashamed to admit it, but, the last time I read the New Testament, it was probably for the same reason! Hopefully this time through will be for a different reason. De Colores

I don't like the terms good, better, best, but, in this case, Brooks Robinson, aka The Human Vacuum Cleaner, or Mr. Hoover, passed away today at 86! I can say, inequitably, Mr Robinson- YOU were the BEST! RIP Mr Robinson. The congratulations you sent to my good friend Butch on his birthday or retirement was so special and I will always fondly remember it!
RIP (no sad face ogie here, just smiles remembering all the times I got to see him play, in TV!

The Angelo State Rams won the NCAA Division 2 National Championship and I can now tell the reason for the victory. They have a player on the roster, obviously a distant cousin, Kamden Kelton! Seriously, CONGRATULATIONS to the Rams and Coach Brooks!

The pictures of this are on Glenda's phone - the 10 week old sled dogs! I'll post pictures of us petting them. And, especially to Selena, yes when I bent over to pet them, I admit, I got a little teary eyed. They were SO cute! You will agree when you see them. Wait til you see them. It's been awhile since I've done this. While the Bible speaks to me, isolating verses has been more difficult but, today, this one Isaiah 12 spoke to me:

ISAIAH 12:2 "Yes, indeed--God is my salvation. I trust, I won't be afraid. GOD--yes GOD!--is my strength and song, best of all, my salvation!"
