Angela Wheeler Monroe and I have been to hundreds of wineries and vineyards throughout USA and EU! And everyone in the wine business know “the struggle is real”. We rely on Mother Nature in every way in the farming industry. So true is the wine business. The struggling vines reach further and further down into earths essence of minerality. The roundness of mouth feel, the elegance of this living fermented juice waiting and perfecting its complexities for that day when we open-smell and taste the wine and retract back on its struggle and why it’s so good.

I watched A Perfect Vintage last night and was inspired !! It’s time to go to the wineries, vineyards and explore the art, the fruit and the struggle.

We grew up in the Finger lakes wine region and made our American road trip to Hill Country Texas / San Antonio.
We are blessed.
